Final preparations

The calm that previously filled the room is gone in an instant as you are surrounded again by mostly-nude women. Only, now you understand that they aren't just women, they are your fellow Maidens, here to welcome you into their ranks.

The Head Mother takes your arm and helps you sit up. Several Maidens are circled around behind her, excited to help you with everything you will need to properly join their ranks. First, one Maiden from behind you begins brushing your hair back, readying you for another to place the hair band on your head. After it settles into place it feels like there's nothing on your head at all.

Next, two sisters each grab one of your arms and hold them outstretched. Another pair of sisters deftly slip white gloves over your hands and pull them all the way past your elbows. Once they're on your arms are released, having only held you for a second in their practiced efficiency.

Last is the high socks and shoes, which are slipped on with the same efficiency as before, only holding your legs up for as long as it takes to slip the fabric all the way up your thighs and not longer. While your now silken-covered feet are still in the air a plain black slipper is slipped onto each of them. You wiggle your toes to test the fit and are pleasantly surprised to find that they have perfectly molded to your feet.

Now that your garb completely matches all your fellow Maidens you are guided up to your feet by a myriad of hands not only pulling your arms and legs but also pushing you up by the shoulders and back. "Thank you, everyone, but I must speak with the newest Maiden alone," the Head Mother states calmly but assertively. With just that simple statement the room clears almost as quickly as it filled, with giddy whispers trailing off long after the other Maidens disappear.
