You cooperated with the elite vampire hunters to help fight the contagion, but it was already uncontainable. By the dawn of the 28th, approximately 10% of the population has been turned. The number of vampires grew in an exponential rate and the hunters sustained heavy losses.

Melissa gathered the police forces and evacuated as many living humans as possible during daytime. She wouldn't let herself rest until the city was saved.

You, on the contrary, joined the hunters in hunting down vampires day and night. You've told no one but deep down you knew that you wanted to find Fran. You knew she's still out there. You watched the light shining above the city on the aircraft with Melissa, and sighed. The tragedy of Owl city was brought by only one vampire. Tens of thousands of good souls were lost. You were just lucky to be alive.

Some time later you were invited to attend Brandon's funeral held in Vatican. You went with Melissa. And that was when you learned the last moments of the honorable priest. Olivia intercepted the car Brandon was in and attacked him, **** him to drink her blood. The vampire hunters shot her down and staked her. You asked but before you could turn on the light, the figure moved swiftly towards you and choked your throat with her strong hand. You were smashed against the wall, and such a loud noise didn't even wake Melissa.

"Fran..." You saw her face and gasped in horror.

"Hello, James." Fran smiled at you, "Finally we meet again."

"How... I couldn't find you... And they nuked the city..." You tried hard to breath while her hand was still grabbing your neck tightly.

"I left the city only minutes after Olivia was destroyed. I knew I couldn't stay there." Fran stepped closer, sniffed at you and licked her fangs, "And I know that you've been trying to find me. Sorry that I couldn't reach you back then."

You didn't dare to ask why she was here now, but Fran knew you well. Her red eyes softened for a moment. The gentle side of this predator who had your childhood friend's face aroused you as your manhood began to erect. But you knew it was wrong. Fran looked down there and smirked.

"I have to come see you, James. I can't hold on by myself for much longer." Fran grabbed your cock through your trousers and gave it some pressure, so that you could focus on her, instead of the stake on the shelf next to you, "Can we be together forever? I can turn you into one of us!"

Her eyes were black like pearl, and she retracted her fangs.

"Silly. I was just teasing you." She gently pinched your cheek.

"What...?" You were confused.

"I know you care about me, James. But you deserve a better girl than me." Fran stepped backwards and gave you some space, "I don't want you to live the rest of your life with a monster like me. Melissa is loyal to you, and so are you to her. Don't waste the opportunity, James."

"What are you talking about?" You tried to reach Fran, but she kept stepping back and kept the distance between you.

"Just forget about me and have a good life." Fran disappeared into the darkness and only her voice echoed, "Goodbye, James..."

Melissa woke up and noticed that you were kneeling on the floor in the hallway. She immediately got up, rushed towards you and hugged you from behind to comfort you. She didn't know what happened, but she could sense the sadness hovering over your mind, and that you needed her company. She leaned her head on your shoulder so that you could feel her warmth.

"Thank you, Melissa..." You grabbed her hand and sobbed quietly.
