Fighting the Queen of Fables

Most superheroes wouldn't consider a library to be the location of a major battle. Then again, nothing ever went normally for the Titans. Their planned day off had been interrupted by the Queen of Fables attacking the city's biggest library. Cyborg was **** to bring Sarah Simms, his recent girlfriend. She had no powers or fighting skills, but was eager to watch them in action.

She quickly found herself regretting her decision as she hid behind a table and watched the fight from safety. The Queen was sending blasts of energy out at the Titans, forcing them to hide behind bookshelves. Sarah wanted to find some way to help, but she knew she'd be blasted the second she came out of hiding.

Something out of the corner of her eye glowed. She looked at the pile of books next to her and saw a book with glowing text. Raven had taught her enough about glowing books and villains. Slowly, Sarah reached out for the book to take it.

A foot stomped on the book before she could reach it. The Queen of Fables picked it up and looked down at Sarah with a mocking grin. "Thank you, sweetie. I was looking all over for this."

Before anyone could react, the Queen opened the book towards Sarah and the Titans. The group felt magic pick them up and toss them around before being thrown through some kind of portal.

"Raven, can't you do something?!" Robin asked.

"I can't! Her magic's too powerful!" Raven shouted.

"I'm gonna be sick!" Beast Boy shouted.

The group all hit a hard ground with a solid THUD. They slowly picked themselves up off the ground and dusted off their costumes.

"Well, that was weird," Cyborg said.

"My friends, were have we been sent?" Starfire asked.

Robin looked around at their new surroundings. "Uh-oh," he said. "The Queen sucked us into her book. I think we're in one of her fairy tales."

"Oh," Beast Boy said. "That doesn't sound too bad."

"Beast Boy, she's called the Queen of Fables for a reason," Raven said. "She can twist them into any way, shape, or form she likes. So, whatever story happened here is no longer the case."

"Oh," Beast Boy said again. "So...which one are we in?"
