Feminist classmates "free" her from the hijab

While Amira was halfway down the hall, she felt a hand grab the side of her head and pull to the left. Before she could even think to fight back, she felt a tug on her hijab as it flew forward, smothering her face for a few seconds before it came off and her luscious locks flew up, resting in a matted mass at the sides of her head.

"Hey!" she yelled at the girl who was now holding her hijab, "Give that back!"

"Nuh uh!" the girl refused, "We're taking you out of the oppressive hierarchy this rag represents!"

Amira was steaming mad as she covered her hair with her hands.

"It's not a 'rag'!" she spat at the girls in front of her, her hands still on her head, "It's very important in my culture and my modesty. How would you like it if I took all your shirts off?!"

"Oooh, threatening us with a dress-code violation!" one of the girls whistled cattily.

"Isn't throwing acid in women's faces also important in that culture?" the girl holding Amira's hijab taunted.

"C'mon guys," Amira didn't feel like arguing how backwards a niche of the Islamosphere that practice represented, "gimme my hijab back..."

"No way," a girl came up and lifted Amira's hands off her hand before threading her own fingers through Amira's hair, "we gotta get this styled and not so messy..."

"Yeah," another girl came up to Amira's side and tugged at the abaya, something felt by virtually all of Amira's nude body underneath, "and this is too frumpy. It's gotta go, too."

Amira's face fell and turned pale at that, as she realized just how naked she was without the hijab. All she had on right now (besides her backpack) were her sandals and a glorified bedsheet wrapped around her body, as her classmates in the hall ooo'd and ahhh'd at their first ever sight of her hair, which the girls were doing up right now.
