Family Dinner

Tonight you and your boyfriend are going to his parent’s place for dinner. He’s been wanting this for a little while now and it’ll be the first time you’re actually sitting down and meeting with them more than just a polite “Hello” and a wave or quick hug.

You’re dressed fairly nice but not overdressed. A clean blouse, knee-length skirt, stockings, and some short heels. He’s just wearing a t-shirt and cargo shorts, but they’re his parents and he’s not trying to make an impression.

You two get there and you hold his hand, “Please don’t do anything too embarrassing, babe?” He asks you. You roll your eyes, “Oh come on. When have I ever done anything to embarrass you?” There have been a few things, to be fair... like that time to pantsed him at the store.

The both of you get to the front door and he knocks, “My mom’s more ‘chill’ than my dad, and my brother is, well, kind of an asshole.” “Oh don’t worry” as you hear the doorknob turn, you reach down and sack-tap your boyfriend, “I am too”.

Your boyfriend tries to compose himself quickly, as you’re greeted by his dad. “Ah, hello you two. Uh, you okay son?” Your bf nods, “Yup, fine.” His dad raises an eyebrow, but shrugs and welcomes you inside.
