Face to face

The girls continue their discussions and Anna gives a friendly smile as she finishes her speech. Edward takes the central position again and adds a few more points to conclude the meeting. Once he finishes his speech he looks towards Camille. "What's his name again?"

"Max"

"Right. Max can you please join me in my office, I'd like to have a word with you."

"Sure!" you yell back.

Jenny rises and grabs your hand, intending to join you, but you try to stop her." I'll be fine, he won't harm a pack member in the first hour as a leader." you pat her hand.

"I'll just wait for you outside his office, if something happens just yell"

"Nothing will happen" you assure her and make your way towards his office.

Nicole and Mark also want to join you, but you don't want to make Edward feel like you are confrontational, so you decline. You make your way towards Eric's old office and you find him and Camille talking in front of his office.

"Here you are, please come in" he says as he opens the door and enters in the room. "And Camille, please keep her company while we talk, it won't take long." You couldn't shake Jenny off and it looks like Camille will keep an eye on her.

"Yes sir!"

"Thank you!" he says as you enter and he closes the door. "Have a seat, Max! Your mate is very protective, I'm kind of surprised"

"We've been through a lot..."

"I understand that you are new to being a werewolf, is that correct?"

"Barely a month.."

"And she is so attached in this little amount of time?"

"Oh, no. We've been together for years, it's just that I was a human until recently."

"So can I assume you know of our ways?"

"Not really, I didn't know she was a werewolf until recently"

He shakes his head. "What has that bastard been doing all this time...Listen, as a Prime, you have more freedom than others, and I'll like it if you can help me keep the pack in order"

"Sure"

"I've been told I took your place as an Alpha, and I want to tell you that, while you are not the Alpha, I'll respect your place in the pack."

"That's fine. I still have a lot to learn."

"Good. Then you can follow me and I'll teach you everything you need to learn. In exchange please don't contradict me in public. It can be seen as a challenge, and I don't want to divide the pack. We need to work as one."
