Author's notes: This isn't quite the end. But it is the end I first intended. This was originally meant to be a final confrontation between Julie and Ashley. But somewhere along the way, Olivia just became a lot more interesting than Ashley. Also, there is a bad ending coming up. You won't have to wait too long, I promise. I also have several chapters I just decided to not publish because they were getting overwhelming, I thought up so many random scenarios while writing this. I may publish them as I polish them or just unpolished as time goes by.

I have a few follow up ideas in the works. I prequel set in Crissy's college that explains what the Masters are. I sequel where an obsessed FBI agent begins a new Hive. And an alternate telling where Julie doesn't escape and becomes the mastermind behind the Hive's spread. But I intend to get at least half of a story written before publishing anything so as not to drag it out like this again, so yeah it might be a while.

In the meantime, I found an interesting site that uses AI to make up stories as you go, CYOA style. I made a scenario that it titled "Day 17 - The Hive Within" that is similar to Day 17, and it is pretty scary how well it understands the story and makes up new things as it goes. If you have checked that link before I have spent a day updating it. It's pretty wild how well it adapts the material with a little work. I changed the link to the latest version. It is much more faithful to my story. Still has a few kinks but it is getting there.
