Experiment on coworkers

Thinking that had to be a fluke, you walked down the isle of cubicles and called out jokingly, "Jane, Sarah, Pete, you're working too hard. Hang up those phones," as they were busy talking to customers and to John's shock, all three hung up their phone instantly. Sarah covered her hands over her mouth with a bit of disbelief she'd done that. Jane simply responded, "What the hell?" having felt her hand move on it's own accord.

Wanting to play and test a bit more, John quickly told the trio to "Pick up your phone and put the receiver to your head. Forget all the commands I've given you this morning including this one".

Just sitting in the middle of the isle, John waiting for the chaos to ensue as all three co-workers began to ask variations on "Are you still there?" or "Did we get disconnected" when the customer's voice was both suspiciously absent and missing.

"Your guys' phones just cut out? Mine too. I'm headed to talk to Mr. Kirkland to let me know there might be a technical issue," replied John smiling, chuckling to himself and thinking "Heh, the ability to make people forget things with the right command sure could come in handy."
