Day off and a trip to the trophy wife

While John didn't mind his job, really -- the only he reason he worked is because he needed money. If he could, he'd much rather stay at home, sleep in every day, spend the first bit of his day maybe watching some movies, having breakfast, showering, a quick gym trip to stay healthy (or another form of exercise), followed by maybe a drive or heading out somewhere new like a restaurant or coffee shop, some kind of brief evening entertainment and back home to maybe watch some more tv or movies and sleep.

In his perfect world, he wouldn't have to worry about making food or cleaning his place, he'd have a maid to do that or a trophy wife. As John thought about this, making his way down the cubicles towards the management-station located in the far corner, he figured he knew exactly how to make that his reality. It was well known that Mr. Kirkland inherited this company from his father along with several others.

Mr. Kirland was set for life and the more John thought about this, he couldn't help but think he didn't do anything to deserve this life other than pure luck. Luck much like his wish having been granted for the voice of command. "Perhaps, I deserve the same," though John, "After all, I am the lucky one now."
