Existential Crisis

Joseph's POV

What am I doing? Did my desire to no longer be lonely really just lead to me creating a Harem? Forcing girls to fall in love with me against their will. That's something only monsters do.

"Master, what's wrong?" asked Jasmine as she walked into the room.

"I'm a monster" I said as I couldn't prevent the tears from falling from my eyes. I then felt arms wrapp around me.

"I've seen monsters before. You're not one of them" she said.

"But the girls. They're being forced into falling in love with me" I said.

"Joseph, I've had a lot of masters during my existence. And you're the only one who has ever cared about the girls who fall in love with them. Most enslave or abuse them. But you don't. You just want to be friends with them. Even without my magic, they'd still be in love with you" she said.

"I don't know. I still feel really guilty" I said.

"Don't. Your harem is going to be built on love, not lust. Embrace it" she said. I guess I feel a little better now.

"Thanks Jasmine" I said. She kissed my head, making my heart skip a beat.

"I'll always be here"
