"Dear Student," the e-mail began, "Reports have circulated that you disrobed on an airplane and thereafter streaked across a whole airport."

The e-mail then included a link to a news site detailing Candace's escapades and her full name, along with the name of the university. "Now, as you may know, we do not generally intrude in the affairs of a student's life off campus. However, this incident is causing significant reputational damage to the University, by which we cannot abide.

As such, you are hereby summoned to appear before the disciplinary board and explain yourself on Tuesday, January 5th, the day after your return from break.

We regret to inform you of this inconvenience, and hope you have a great break!
