Chapter 82 by JTMac450

How does preparations go?

Everything goes well, surprisingly

"The house isn't large, but it should be good enough for 1-2 people. And they're willing to give it at a discount to you as a friend, for a while at least."

Victoria smiled, nodding. "Sounds perfect, thanks, mom."

The voice over the phone continued. "Of course sweety. And Victoria... make sure you stay safe, I don't want to lose you."

Victoria was touched by that. Her parents were distant, but they loved her, even if their way was... distant at times. "I love you guys too. Bye!"

Chloe walked behind Frank and the mechanic. In truth, she had been surprised Frank found her something. But, well he wanted his money, and this mechanic needed a part time assistant who could be trusted to not ask questions. The mechanic, L as he wanted to be known, honestly expected the girl to fail at the test run, but she'd somehow got it done.

"Alright, you'll come in, work on the cars I assign for 4 hours a day, and no questions. Got it?"

Chloe chuckled. "Hey, you handle the paper work and clients, I just work on the machines. What am I getting, 7.50 an hour?"

Frank grunted, having wanted a bit more of a take, but L wasn't gonna pay him more and wanted to give the girl at least minimum wage. Easier to hide from authorities if they asked about her that way. "After "taxes" and fees, yeah. Welcome aboard." And with a shake of the hand, the deal was set.

Max was busy out getting supplies. Makeup, masks, hair dye, all the stuff they were gonna need for their shoots. Well, all the non adult stuff at least. The Cashier was a little surprised. "Party coming up?"

Mex shrugged. "Home movies with friends. Need to get a better portfolio and figure something like that will look better on a resume."

The clerk nodded and kept scanning the items. He didn't get it, but that wasn't his job. His job was to scan items, ring up totals, he wasn't paid to care what was bought. "Alright, total is $92.37."

Max winced. It was a lot, but the 4 had pulled their money together and had enough to buy all the supplies at least. Cash of course, no tracing it. With the items paid for, Max headed out of the store and towards Rachel's new place.

Rachel liked the house. It was a 2 bed, 1 bathroom, with a kitchen/dining room combo and a TV room. Sure, that was small, but it wasn't like Rachel was willing or able to pay for something bigger.

She'd be staying in the one bedroom, the other being converted into a "study". The room was given some work, mostly a shut out curtain to keep anyone from seeing in. The bed was thankfully a double in here, though the other one was a single to Rachel's disappointment. No cuddle pile with the girlfriends in a clean bed afterwards. Eh, problem for another time she supposed.

In the meantime, she continued sprucing up the house. The first shoot was tomorrow night, and damn if this shoot wasn't at least gonna be fun.

Almost Shoot time
