Everything goes as planned

Katie had been sitting in her office, listening to some classical music when the door opened and Vanessa walked in, with a rather large box in her hands and a triumphant smile on her face. "It's all done, love" she said happily, putting the body on Katie's desk. Katie grinned as she opened the body, revealing a blood stained golden necklace that was known to have always been worn by Vanessa's father. He was never known to have taken the necklace off. Katie smiled happily as she picked up the necklace and put it around her own neck.

"How's it look on me?" she asked Vanessa, who laughed.

"Better on you than it did on the old man. I paid off my goons well. They helped me to kill my father and brother and now I'm the only one in the family left so the reigns fall to me. And now..." she said, taking Katie's hand in hers and kissing it gently. "I officially transfer that power to you. Congratulations, lover. you're the newest crime lord of the city. What's the plan from here?" she asked, eager to serve.

"Well, first we need to make this official. go back to your home and get the word across to all of your men that I'm now in charge. Make sure they all know what I look like and how to contact me. From there, I'll find a few of your enforcers that I REALLY like and give them some extra sinful incentive to work closely with me. If there's anyone you think might be planning to take advantage of this situation for their own benefit, send them my way also and I'll kill all those fantasies. Then I'll move forward on my plans. Within a few weeks I want to have all of the crime in this city under my strict control."

"Sounds good. I'll go get the word out that you're the new boss. See you soon" Vanessa said before leaving the room.

Katie smiled, looking at the necklace she now wore. It had been a symbol of control and power for so long and now it belonged to her. This would be fun. The only question was whether she should inform Jonny of this new development now or wait a little.
