Eve

You stumble back a few steps, but the woman who crashed into you is pretty light and it doesn't really hurt that much. "Eve!" you say in surprise as you recognize the woman who works for the villainous Wolfram and Hart. When you picked up the Watcher package and got the phone call she was far down the list of who you would have been expecting.

"How do you know my name?" she asks suspiciously as she looks you over. "Ah, a Watcher."

"What are..." you start, but are cut off as you again hear a roar.

"Listen, I know we're not exactly one the same side, but it would be in both our interest if we got out of here."

She goes to move past you, but you grab onto her. In the process you notice she is covered in the purple slime. "We aren't going anywhere yet."

She stops trying to get past you, "I'm telling you, it's not wise to stick around."

There is a roar again and you try to remind yourself that it is just the company playing up the story, not like there is an actual monster nearby. At least you hope not.

"Tell me what is going on. What is this slime? Why are you here?"

"It's an intense aphrodisiac. It causes overwhelming feelings of lust in any woman it gets on. They become consumed with the idea of having sex. We tried to use the creature that produces it against all the Slayers that are appearing as it would be a pretty effective counter-weapon against them," she says and then looked shocked for a moment. "Why did I tell you all of that? It's like ... oh, the slime must have some kind of mental compulsion as well."

There is a roar again, "What's that?"

"The creature we got the slime from. It was less than happy with the removal process."

"If its an aphrodisiac, why aren't you being effected?"

She touched a gold bracelet she is wearing. "This protects against the effects, mostly. About 75 to 90 percent. Enough that I'm not trying to suck your cock right now, though it is tempting. Of course, we were unaware of the compulsion effect so I have no protection against that, or I wouldn't be telling you any of this."

"And what happened before I got here?"

"We set up the ambush and a group of..." she pauses as the monster roars again, this time much closer. "I really think we should get going."

As much as you know it is all a trick, you are becoming unnerved by the closeness of the roars. "Come on, let's go."
