Erica works as a cashier.

Erica moved through the store, back the way she came, hoping that none of the customers would bother her on the way to the registers. So many people struggled with finding what they wanted and would jump at the chance to ask whoever they found that was an employee to help them.

She was very happy when she was promoted to cashier. The cashiers got a slightly larger discount on their in store purchases and were not necessarily responsible for assisting the customers, although they were still expected to help keep shoppers happy.
