Epilogue

The Doctor walked slowly around the TARDIS console, speaking softly too his time machine, twisting a dial here, flicking a lever there.

"Doctor."

A loud voice made him jump.

"Rory!" he exclaimed. "What can I do for you?"

"When I was away, I assume you treated Amy OK?"

"Err...yes, of course!" the Doctor laughed.

"Because I've just had her in fits of tears telling me how you made her escape from daleks, took her to Gallifrey and then had her running around this place...all the while completely naked!"

"Err...well, yes. The thing is Rory-" The Doctor blabbed, backing away from his companion.

"You wouldn't happen to have caught any of that on tape, would you?"

"On...on tape?" the Doctor asked, confused.

"For research purposes, obviously."

"Research purposes...yes! Research purposes!" the Doctor exclaimed, slapping his forehead as he finally grasped Rory's meaning. They were husband and wife, so of course Rory would be attracted to her, even though he himself didn't see the appeal.

"Let me see what I've got here..."

"You know, for a minute there I thought you were going to be angry with me!" the Doctor laughed as he handed over the video disc.

"Angry with you? Oh Doctor, if this is how I knew you looked after Amy when I'm not here, I'd go on solo adventures more often!"
