Epilogue (Argent allure)

Ruby and Raven take a nice long shower together. They hold each other closely, occasionally kissing and rubbing their bodies together with soap. They emerge from the shower anew.

Ruby goes to her room and Raven sleeps on the couch (after a little clean up work). They sneak off for sex many more times during their stay in the farmhouse. No one suspects a thing about their secret relationship.

Raven sticks to her word, helping Ruby and co fend off forces conspiring against the kingdom of Mistral. She makes Ruby aware of a plot to destroy Haven academy days in advance.

All involved were killed or imprisoned on the night of the attack. Adam Taurus was killed while resisting arrest. Leonardo Lionheart's crimes made national headlines following his arrest. Cinder was a particularly challenging case due to having the Fall maiden's powers.

Raven did not want the responsibility of being the key to two vaults, nor did she want the responsibility of Beacon's vault thrusted on Ruby's shoulders. She chose to freeze Cinder alive until a decision was made with Ozpin for who would become the next Fall maiden. How Raven ended up with the Spring maiden's powers to perform such a feat was left undisclosed...

Duty eventually called Raven back to lead the Branwen tribe. Ruby on the other hand was committed to safeguarding Haven academy in preparation for its grand reopening. Many of Mistral's huntsmen were dead thanks to Leonardo selling them out. But there were more than enough students capable of filling their boots. Remnant is now a safer place thanks to Raven's commitment to turn a new leaf. If Ruby ever wanted to see Raven again, she was only one portal away...

A new headmaster and a new Fall maiden had to be selected quickly. Professor Oobleck was the ideal candidate due to his experience at Beacon. His knowledge of human-Faunus relations was also an asset to quell racial tensions in Mistral spurred up by the White Fang and various humanist factions. He accepted the offer and zipped over to Haven in a wink.

Arslan Atlan of Team ARBN was selected to become the next Fall maiden. She considered transferring to Shade academy after hearing the news break on Leonardo's treachery. Ruby's presence convinced her to stay at Haven- most of the key players from last year's Vytal tournament were in Mistral. Arslan couldn't be left out of the loop! If she wanted to win gold in the next tournament, she had to train with the best!

Cinder was comatose after thawing. The Fall maiden powers were promptly transferred to Arslan using an aura transfer machine held in a secret facility Ozpin built in Mistral.

Meanwhile, Raven tried to reconcile her split with Taiying. It was not easy plucking up the courage to talk to him again. They agreed to no longer be in a relationship, though Raven became part of Ruby and Yang's life.

Distance made the heart grow fond- once Ruby was settled in the reopened Haven academy, it was only a matter of time before Raven paid her a visit. A new kindred link connected their souls from across land and sea.
