The world of the Zentheks is not wholly unlike our own. The best way to distinguish their dimension is that instead of being made of waves and points which punch the void via disturbance of a multi-dimensional background field, they instead have a universe predicated on a nigh infinite series of rings which react conditionally to both the polarity expressed by what we would recognize as mass, as well as the point and line like expressions of two other interactive fields.
The Zentheks, forming into existence as a pattern that found purchase against the causality around it, much like ourselves, have dedicated themselves to the study of their world and the explanation of natural phenomena.
They have won out against their competitors, reached a peak above the other races that have been present in their universe, and finally, having brought the whole of that which touches them under their scrutinizing and watchful eye, they wish to explain the two great mysteries of their world.
The two fields that are unknown to us are wholly consistent. One provides a polar severity that lack of interaction dampens. The diameter of the circular ripples that constitute the fundamental expanse of their world "hook" onto the slants of this field in an alternating pattern and their behavior exaggerates rythmically upon reaction. It is predictable and steady.
The point like nodes of the other field are unpredictable, but predictably so. They distort their version of space time so consistently and randomly that it accounts for what might be analogous to their version of quantum physics. With the flowing rings of their world slowing when encapsulating a point, and speeding up when running abreast of them.
But finally, and most mysteriously, is their interactions with the constants of our world. For a long time, it was thought to be like the second interaction, wholly random. But, upon increasing scrutiny, the field was found to have a cellular structure. This discovery only becoming possible once the accuracy of their instruments bordered on an extremely refined perversion of their worlds physics.
But as the Zentheks spread, and their analysis of their world became more complete, their world straining technology became capable of measuring two anomalies which they took great interest in...
