Envy Adams–Anime

Natalie V. Adams, known as Envy Adams to pretty much everyone, had attended her ex-boyfriend's funeral last week. Scott Pilgrim wasn't a good boyfriend, or a good bandmate, or (judging from the teenage-groupie in the pew) a good man. At least she can put all of that behind her— fully put that behind her. The only things that mattered now (besides her ofc) are her boyfriend, Todd Ingram, her best friend, Lynnette Guycott, and their band, The Clash at Demonhead.

Today, Envy Adams was setting up an impromptu photo shoot. It was a little something-something that she felt like doing. A little treat for herself. A little time spent making herself feel as good as this day was.

Just as she finished talking with the production head, her boyfriend, Todd Ingram, ran up to her and almost stepped on the whole set. Envy had to push him back to keep the little pixies and their little cameras from getting annihilated.

"Todd, you can't just run up to me in a photo shoot. My pocket crew were almost dust!"

"Sorry Babe, but have-a-look at this!" Todd said, before pulling out a contract for an upcoming movie. He had already signed his name, and Lynnette hers. All that was left was a space for Envy's own signature. She stared at the contract for some time, before falling into a chair set up by her pixies.

"To—odd, we need a manager to read all of this _nothing _out for us. It's a just whole bunch of words that barely make sense together."

"No problem Babe, I was there when they explained everything to me. Isn't that right Todd?" he said towards his echo. It was probably best that he let the other Todd do the talking, since he had their nice white shirt with a black 3. The other was wearing their black shirt with a white skull on it—totally unprofessional as an upcoming actor.

"That's right Todd. He can explain everything to you. I'm gonna go freshen up for our first shoot."

"You three are already filming?"

"Yeah. Lynette's gonna be playing this killer ninja lesbian, and we're going to be playing the Best Fighter in Ontario! If you join in, you'll be this emo chick that everyone wants a piece of!"

"Hm, sounds familiar... Not bad though. I'll take it." Envy picked up a pen from her pixies, and began signing the contract. The air around them lightened up as the ink sunk into the paper. It was strange, but not bothersome. When Envy finished signing the contract, she could have sworn the word babble above it was different, but Todd took it before she could look at it any further.

"Alright Babe. I'm gonna go freshen up now. Todd should help you and Lynn get ready." Just as Todd ran through the door, the other Todd came through it, looking primed for a day of filming.
