Emily Carver had been a difficult, delinquent youth. Fighting at school, shoplifting, and running with punks and thugs led her to countless altercations with the law. She'd always managed to find herself only in and out of jail for short stints until she was in her thirties when the lure of a big job made her careless and she landed in a federal penitentiary.
Three years into her eight year sentence, she was allowed to apply for the Body of a Prisoner Experimental Exchange Program, also known as BO-PEEP. Someone thought it cute to give the whole program a theme. Emily would be the wolf in proverbial sheep's clothing, and whoever donated their body for her to ride around in would become the sheep.
Emily wasn't sure the sort of person who would actually do it, but she'd heard that there ware any number of reasons. Good-hearted souls who didn't mind making the sacrifice for those less fortunate, court-ordered community service, some kind of scare-'em-straight program to show them what it's like on the inside. Probably other reasons, too.
The thing that mattered to Emily was that she was going to be out, and someone else would be in.
She had things she wanted to do, including feeling the touch of a man for the first time in years.
