Emily Captures Reader Lucas

Note: This pathway will be from male perspective, with Emily as the one capturing you, the “Main Boy Name” character, Lucas.

It’s the first day of summer vacation, finally. You still have to go to Football camps and workouts and such, but at least you don’t have to deal with school any more for a little while and you get a break from all the testing, reading and typing.

However, now you have to deal with the Gender Wars, and you were elected as the Captain of the Boys, making you a prime target. If the girls capture you, they will do whatever they can to make your life awful and get payback. Every bad thing the boys have done to them will fall on you. Every boy who’s turned down a date, every boy who’s tried to make advances on them without their permission, every boy who’s teased them about how their butts or boobs are too small, all of it. Even though you’ve always tried to be respectful and kind to everybody, as the elected leader of the boys, you are now the face of the boys for the entire campus. All of their actions, especially over this summer break all comes back to you. That’s a lot of pressure. Of course, all the girls also know who you are by now as well. If they see a chance to capture you, they’re going to try and take it. The reward for capturing you, and the prestige, popularity, fame, recognition along side of that would be immense for if one of them managed to bring you back to the girls hideout caught.

You also have no idea what tools the girls have at their disposal. What they do to boys they catch. All you know is that the only rules are that punishments can’t extend past summer break and that they can’t affect your standing at the school, and they can’t do anything permanent or causing long term damage. You know Emily well enough that she’s going to abide by those rules. She’s a rule follower as much as you are. You also know that she has good control and grasp over making sure that the girls underneath her will follow those rules as well. However, that still leaves a LOT of things open to interpretation. There are an infinite number of possibilities of things that she could do to you if she catches you that don’t count as “permanent damage”. Surely she would take advantage of you, manipulate you, control you, and absolutely humiliate and embarrass you in every possible conceivable way that she could. She’s a girl after all, the leader of the girls. It’s her job to listen to what they want, and what they want isn’t going to be fluffy kisses on the cheek and holding hands while you share a nice cold lemonade on a patio.

“Yo Lucas! You with us bro?” Anthony asks you, snapping you out of your biggest fears.

“Yeah, just thinking about stuff.” You reply instinctively as Danny and Anthony are sitting with you in the leadership room of the boys hideout.

“You know if we catch Emily you won’t have to worry about what she’s going to do to you any more right?” Danny mentions. He’s not wrong, but you also wonder if having Emily would make the girls go harder on you if they caught you at the same time.

“I guess, I’m just not going to stay underground all summer and do nothing all day. I need to go out and do stuff, ya know?” You inform the pair. The two boys understand, but they want to keep you safe and out of harms way.

“The most important thing we can do is keep you safe, Lucas. Without you we’re doomed. And you know that if they catch you, you’re going to be cooked and it’s going to be miserable for you.” Danny says. You nod understanding, but it still doesn’t really deter you from anything. You still need your exercise, your fresh air, your groceries, and even though the underground bunker does feel safe and secure, it’s still not the same as the room that you’ve grown accustomed to over the last two years. Last summer during the Gender Wars, you were an NPC, nobody came looking for you, nobody bothered to even check your dorm room for you, and the girls on the jogging paths and trails or the ones who were bold enough to come to the Football field to catch guys were fine with ignoring you to look for bigger fish to fry than an irrelevant first year or content to just stay neutral and not target you so long as you didn’t target them. The one time you got close to getting caught last year, you were able to negotiate a deal with her that you weren’t targeting any girls and you promised not to target anyone so long as they let you go and left you alone. The girl agreed, and you lived up to your end of the bargain, and you never got threatened again for the rest of the wars.

But this year is different. If you step foot on the trail or on the football field, every girl is going to have eyes on you. They’re watching you. They could have cameras set up, traps set up, anything, anywhere on campus. It’s not like the girls don’t know you’re on the football team, they don’t know about your habits, your tendencies, your routines. The girls have been scouting you for months, you know that. Emily in particular is meticulous and wouldn’t let any leads or hints or opportunities slide by without preparation. She’s got the mind of a football coach, like her dad was before he passed away.

“Lucas… Come on man… Focus up! We gotta find their leaders and catch them ASAP bro.” Anthony says to you, again snapping you out of your thoughts. You nod, agreeing with their plans and ideas. You’re a delegator. Not wanting to get overly involved or invested, you trust your team to handle a lot of the inner workings and day to day operations. Danny handles the surveillance, monitoring and security of the base and most of the spying on the girls stuff to lead the Emily investigation. Anthony handles the actual capturing operations including being the one to go out and capture the targets Danny identifies and handles what to do with the girls who are captured including the interrogation process. Mason largely assists Anthony and is his backup in case he were to get caught, while Nathan largely assists Danny and would be his backup, ensuring redundancy and a chain of command while also having multiple people doing each job to reduce the workload of the two assistant captains.

However, it’s only Day 1. All you know about the girls for SURE, is that {Emily) is their leader. Nothing else. You think you might have an idea who her assistants are, but you don’t know for sure. Her technology, her traps, her setups, her base location, all of that remains secret this early on in the Gender War. You know enough about her that she’s a gymnast, but invading the all-girls gym facility by yourself is a recipe for disaster, and she’s surely going to be with several girls when she gets out of gym practice as a precaution, just as you would be when you get out of Football Practice.

“Lucas! Bro do you need air that badly? Seriously?” Anthony asks.

“I mean, it would be nice, yeah. It’s kinda just so habit and routine I just, I feel wore out without getting amped up for my run. Being cooped up underground is just tough to deal with.” You explain.

“Fine. The four of us will take care of our plans and setup and testing. Just be safe alright dude?” Danny says. You nod as you walk out of the leadership room in the boys secret underground bunker hideout. You take a quick look at the security cameras set up around the base in the security room to make sure things are safe, with no sign of any girls anywhere remotely close to the hideout. You think that they’re probably focusing on securing their own hideout, doing their own equipment tests, things like that themselves within their own base and the vicinity of where they set up, wherever that ended up being. With all signs clear, you leave the bunker, typing in the very complicated security passcode 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9=0 on the keypad, before the exit door opens and you’re back in the outside world.

You take a deep breath, feel the sense of calm with being back outside in nature again, and it feels good. A little bit warmer than you remember, but not hot, still good running weather. You see a couple of the boys securing the perimeter and wave as you head out of the safety and security of your hideout zone towards the paths and trails that connect the hideout to the Cielisium Forest. You hit the main path, jogging as you set your phone on to track your speed and distance. You turn some light music on and relax as you’re able to follow your normal routine.

After about an hour of jogging, you get to the part of the trail that goes behind the Football field, and your brain freezes as if you’ve just eaten a whole container of ice cream in under a minute. It paralyzes you and you can’t move, you can’t think, you’re stuck frozen, unable to do anything at all except for look right ahead. You feel someone pull your arms behind your back and your wrists feel tight, as you hear a clicking sound. Handcuffs. Your phone, which you dropped once your brain froze, has now been picked up off the ground. Your ears are ringing and you can’t hear anything, your sense of smell isn’t translating, but slowly over the next minute it comes back.

You start to hear the cute sound of a female giggle. You start to smell the lavender perfume. You feel the handcuffs restricting the movement of your arms and hands, securing them behind your back. Then finally, after what feels like the longest minute you’ve ever had, the sound of footsteps as you feel someone come from behind you to stand in front of you. It’s her, Emily, wearing a cute little aqua blue shirt and skirt combination, and a very happy smile. You panic. This is the end. It’s only day one, and you’re already caught. The girls will have the whole summer, with you as their prisoner. Just like that, in 60 seconds, it all ends, and you’re finished. You’ve been caught.
