Emi Tanaka

Emi is a Japanese-Brazilian, 26-year-old raised in California, and she's got the best of both worlds. Taller than Layla, standing at 5'9, slender and athletic, with long legs and toned arms from years of dance and yoga. Her face has sharp angles, with some choice plump curves. Her hair is black, but with streaks and bits dyed in bright purple. She probably did it herself. She does most things herself.

Out in the world, she's the cool artsy girl. Plays a guitar, is involved in theater, and likes to paint. The one who always has a film camera around her neck, knows about underground galleries, and listens to bands you've never heard of. She's calm, a little distant, the kind of person who watches more than she participates. People think she's mysterious. Really, she's just picky about who she lets in.

And sweet, timid Layla got in. And around Layla, something else comes out.

See, Emi didn't know she had a sadistic side until Layla kept accidentally tripping into situations where she needed a little push to get out of. And Emi kept pushing finding out that it felt good. Not in a cruel way, mind ya, more like scratching an itch she didn't know she had.
