Chapter 407 by The Other Guy The Other Guy

Who is inside the carriage?

Edin

Wait what? He stuck his head out and gave you a bright smile. "Christopher!" He said happily jumping out of the carriage. You saw how much he wanted to run over and hug you and you shared that desire. Then he saw your missing arm and a lot of worry, concern, fear and sorrow stopped his movement.

"Hey Edin." You were hoping the casualness would make the missing limb less traumatic. If you acted like it wasn't an issue you figured he'd be better at accepting it as just that. "Who'd you bring with you?" There are more carriages than when he and Ana had left and a notable shift it colour scheme.

"A few Nobles wanted to join us in the Capital. Apparently there is to be a royal betrothal. Nice to see you sister." Ana said stepping out of the carriage. She smiled at the two of you and saw her aura flicker with fascination at seeing the two of you here. She walked over to you and planted her lips on yours, whispering in your ear afterwards, "Where is your arm?" She stayed close to you awaiting your answer.

"I'll explain later." You said smiling at her warmly. "I missed you." As you said that you saw Blue leave the carriage and walk away, towards the others.

Ana didn't back off, clearly wanting more than that. "Mother wanted to talk with you." Mary said looking at how close the two of you were and shift a little on her feet.

"She can wait. She did send me away after all." Ana said backing away.

"Your Highness, your fiancé needs your company." Blue said walking over to her.

Ana sighs and looks at the carriage as it pull up in front of the three of you. You looked at Mary standing at your side her aura occasionally reaching over to tickle your side in teasing attraction. No wonder Aurora wanted you out here, man you suck at politics stuff.

You fortified yourself to meet this man. Mentally not magically that is. It had been so long since he and Ana had gotten betrothed you'd kinda forgotten that was a thing. Well it feels like a long time but it'd only been like four, five weeks.

As the carriage door opened you fully expected a fifty year old, over weight bald man to get out. Well expect is the wrong word, desired fit better, someone you could just dislike without having to spend an effort to do so. Ana left your side and stood at the foot of the carriage holding out a hand to be taken.

Out of the carriage a slender black hand with purple painted nails took hers. It was followed by a slender bare arm, and a shoulder with a purple toga draped over it. The rest of Ana's fiancé came out of the carriage and you were left both completely stunned and fairly unsurprising. Her fiancé was a little taller than Edin with thick black hair braided and hanging over his shoulder, a golden bangle tying the end and jingling slightly as he stepped down.

His toga was a deep purple, a little longer than the one Ana had made you wear but still leaving half of his chest exposed. His face was soft, gentle features that gave his lips a fullness that reminded you of Edin. His eyes were a deep brown colour, highlighted by the illusion of purple eye shadow. When his foot touched the ground he was about as tall as your eye line. His aura was as purple as the rest of him, casting off images of flowers, reminiscent of the ones lining the palace's carriageway. Somehow of all they ways you'd imagined Ana's fiancé would look, effeminate is not one of them. Isn't he supposed to be related to the queen of another kingdom, do they all look so, soft.

"Lashay, please allow me to introduce you to my Sister, Princess Mary. And her-" Ana started before being cut off by a voice behind you.

"Fiancé, Lord Clare." Aurora said walking past you to stand closer to Ana and Lashey. "Lord Lashay, how lovely to see you I do hope you're impromptu meeting with your fiancée didn't cause any issue. I would have sent your mother more warning, but you know how these things go sometimes."

"Greetings my Queen." Lashay's voice was soft but deep, intoning a melodic pattern to his words as he bowed for Aurora. "No trouble at all, my mother was more than happy for me to get some more time with Princess Anastasia." His hand was still in Ana's and he stroked her fingers with his own. "She wanted to thank you for giving me such a chance."

Ana kept a very carefully neutral look on her face though she was clearly angry about the whole fiancé thing. "Well I think you've had a long journey, no doubt you'll want to rest." Ana said.

"I agree. Mary, please show Lord Lashay to his room. And do bring your fiancé. I'm sure the soon to be brothers would like to get to know each other. Anastasia and I need to have a conversation about the nobles she's invited." Aurora said taking Lashay's hand and directing him towards you and Mary while glaring at Ana. You guess the inviting nobles was **** for the surprise fiancé.

"Actually I'm," Lashay said but trailed off when he saw the mutual glaring. He shut his mouth and hurried over to you and Mary. "Hello Princess Mary, Lord Christopher." He said softly as mother and daughter behind him seemed to be trying to generate daggers with their eyes.

"Hello Lord Lashay." Mary said.

"Nice to meet you." You said. You had no idea how you should be feeling right now. Fully aware that this is the man Aurora is determined to ship Ana off with yet also not feeling threatened by him. Ana didn't seem to even care about his presence beyond need to acknowledge it.

Aurora and Ana walked passed you towards the palace, Aurora deliberately walking between you and Ana. "It's nice to meet you as well. You danced with Princess Anastasia after our betrothal didn't you?"

You suddenly felt extremely awkward like you were being called out for all the sex you'd had with finacée. "Um, yes."

"Thank you." Not what you had been expecting. "Would you teach me that dance. Mother said I should dance with my finacée and that having to leave her to dance with her sister's finacé was rude, even if I didn't have a choice to do so." Oh that makes sense. He thought Ana's future brother in law had kept her company after her future husband had been hurried away ... wait, does that mean he doesn't know about all the sex you'd been having with his finacée, Ana had very explicitly told you she'd wanted that knowledge to more than apparent? How could he not know?

"We'll take you to your room." Mary said saving you from asking if he was aware of all the sex you'd been having with his future wife.

"Thank you." He stretched and reached back to rub his ass. "My carriage was not very comfortable." He looked over at Edin who'd been quietly hanging around the edge of all the conversations. "Would you like to come Edin?" There was a familiarity in his tone that suggested the last week hadn't been spent solely with Ana.

"Actually I need Lord Edin help with some other matters my Lord." Blue said taking Edin's hand. There was a softness to her tone and you didn't feel any impending threat to your life emanating from her. Had she told Edin how she felt yet?

"Of course." Lashay nodded at them and waved a goodbye. "Shall we?" He asked Mary.

"Sure this way." Mary said turning and walking towards the palace with Lashay hurrying to walk beside her. You walked him walk past noticing a tattoo of his back mostly hidden by his toga. You couldn't make out what it was and didn't want to be seen staring at it for the length of time it would take to figure it out.

Walking with the two Mary led you through the palace. You caught a glimpse of Aurora and Ana disappearing down a corridor. You were curious to hear what they were going to talk about. Mary could lead Lashay to his room without you and it's not like you can really help with that. Plus you just know that if you spend too long around Lashay you are going to ask if he knows about how many times you've cum inside his future wife.

Snoop on Aurora and Ana or spend time with your rival for Ana's affection?
