Chapter 23 by LLation
What's next?
Early next morning
I blinked my eyes open and tried to stretch on the bed, but my body was pinned by the two gorgeous older women who’d fallen asleep with me. The room dimly lit red lights along the area where the ceiling met the walls. The city glimmered sapphire beyond the windows that adorned the left side wall. Faint, dark opal waves of light had begun to illuminate the partly-cloudy sky.
Not night. Really early morning, local time. I stretched, letting out a sigh of relief. For me it was probably somewhere around midday.
My stomach gurgled. Time for lunch?
The room I’d slept in had once been an office, but my faithful **** police officers had quickly remade it into a bedroom. I’d considered going back to my hotel to sleep, but my servants had convinced me to stay here since it was safer. I couldn’t help but agree.
Ashley, Samara, and Anaya had explained that it would be relatively easy to move a lot of my servants into the hotel with me, but the building itself was nowhere near as secure as the police station, which sported blast doors, a fully-stocked armory, deployable combat drones, and hidden sentry auto-turrets that would come down from the ceiling. Not to mention that the building itself was reinforced against mass accelerator rounds and explosives.
Additionally, it wasn’t unusual for the officers here to pull all-nighters. There were cots set up in other unused rooms where well over a dozen of my officers would be staying the night while the regular shift handled operations and security. And, also important, no one outside would bat an eyelash at the workaholic officers staying here overnight.
A soft moan drew my attention to my bedmates.
My mother occupied my right side. Her head rested against my shoulder. Her red hair was a tousled mess, spilling haphazardly over my chest. Her fat right tit was pressed against my chest. She was mostly sleeping on her stomach, so I had a decent view of her big, fat ass even in the dark. I smirked. Last night was incredible. Mom had been incredible. I’d have never thought she’d be such a passionate lover, what with that stick she always had lodged firmly up her ass, but she’d definitely surprised me.
To my left was Samara. Where my mother was fast asleep and resting against me, Samara’s blue-silver eyes were wide open. They met mine almost immediately, and I sighed.
“Already awake, I see.” I whispered.
Samara tilted her head, her approximation of a shrug.
“You received a notification on your omni-tool, Master. I believe it’s a message from Liara,” she said.
“I did? Let me see,” I said, reaching for my omni-tool.
She handed it to me. Conscious of my still-sleeping mother, I opened it at one of the lower brightness settings.
I tabbed into my messaging app and opened the latest one from Liara.
<<“I believe I have tracked down a lead on Morinth. Investigating further. Please meet me in the operations room when you wake up.”>>
I raised my eyebrows. At Samara’s curious stare, I tilted my omni-tool so she could read the message.
Her eyes widened.
“Master,” she whispered hesitantly, a conflicted look in her eyes. I could tell she didn’t feel entirely comfortable leaving me, even though I was completely safe where I was.
“Go.” I nodded. “Mom and I will catch up.”
She gave me a lingering look before getting off the bed. My eyes followed her voluptuous naked blue body as she walked to the other side of the room where her clothes had been left, her big Matriach ass jiggling and swaying with her movements. She quickly got dressed, her huge blue tits wobbling as she put on her clothes and armor.
After she was finished, she walked up to the door and stopped. She turned her head and met my eyes one last time. I nodded at her. She gave me the faintest of smiles and pressed the button on the side of the door. It switched open, revealing a much more brightly-lit hallway beyond. I put an arm over my eyes to shield myself. When the door closed, she was gone.
I sighed and looked at the message again. So, Liara had found some information about Morinth. It couldn’t have been anything too solid, or she’d be waking me up right away. She knew how important it was to me that Morinth joined us. Apart from the fact that she was hurting people and needed to be stopped and her importance to Samara, she was also a skilled killer who had evaded even Asari Justicars for centuries. Someone like that on my side would be incredibly useful.
“Mmph.” Mom stirred against me. Her eyes fluttered open and she looked up at me, the low orange from my omni-tool illuminating the both of us. “Good morning.”
I smiled at the simplicity of the statement. We’d crossed so many boundaries recently, taken a leap that a mother and son can never truly come back from. Yet her first words to me today are “good morning.” It’s like nothing between us has changed, even though everything has.
“Morning,” I said. I reached up to brush a bit of her hair out of her face. Her sexy lips curved upwards. “Did you sleep well?”
“I did. You?”
I nodded. “Yeah. I was pretty exhausted last night, if you can recall.”
She rolled her eyes and shifted on the bed slightly so her head rested on the pillow next to mine. I rolled over to look her in the eye.
“I still can’t believe we did all that,” she said softly. She didn't avert her gaze.
“Any regrets?” I asked.
She shook her head.
“No. Well, maybe one.”
I raised my eyebrows. “Oh yeah? Feel like sharing?”
She gave me a teasing grin. God, this was so unlike her. Was this how she acted when she and Dad were alone together?
“Maybe later.” She glanced around the room. “Where’s Samara?”
Despite my curiosity, I let the matter drop for now.
“I got a notification from Liara that she found a lead on Samara’s daughter, Morinth. I told you about her.”
Mom’s beautiful green eyes widened. She quickly schooled her features, her decades of experience as an Alliance officer coming to the forefront.
“The goddamned Ardat-Yakshi? What’d Liara find out?” she asked, her tone suddenly all business.
I shook my head.
“She didn’t give me any info over the message. She said she’d be waiting for me in the operations room,” I said.
Mom nodded sagely. “It’s probably nothing actionable yet. If it were urgent, I have a feeling she’d be barging down the door to let you know, with your troops already assembled and ready to go.”
I chuckled and shifted slightly on the bed. “Yeah, you’re probably right, unfortunately. It’s still better than having no information at all, though.”
“That’s true. Liara seems like a bright young woman. I’m glad she’s been helping you out. Her and Ashley Williams,” Mom said.
I smiled.
After Samara, Mom, and I had had our fun, I’d introduced her to the rest of my servants. Well, she knew some of them already, but not in the context of them as my servants. It was kind of surreal having Mom interact with them all. I guess I just instinctively assumed that I’d be keeping the pen, and by extension my servants and the eventual war against Reapers, a secret from her. It just didn’t feel natural to involve Mom in my struggles or even ask for her input or advice. The realization hit me like acid in my throat.
I wanted to be closer to her, even if we didn’t see eye-to-eye. I just… hadn’t been sure how to accomplish that. Even now I still don’t rightly know how I’m supposed to connect with her after all these years we’ve spent resenting each other. I’d cheated. **** her to make a leap she would never have otherwise, and now she and I were lovers. There was a tenderness between us that hadn’t existed before. And where once there was hesitation or even mistrust, now there were no secrets between us. I wished I could enjoy it as much as I knew I should, but I couldn’t help the nagging thought at the forefront of my mind that I hadn’t truly earned it. Her love and acceptance.
“John?” Her concerned voice woke me from my reverie and I found myself staring at her beautiful face. Her right hand had come up to squeeze my arm tenderly, her eyes radiating maternal warmth despite her nakedness and the fact that her hefty breasts were squishing against my bare chest.
“Hm? Oh, sorry.”
“Don’t apologize. You’re probably feeling overwhelmed, what with the imminent Reaper invasion,” she said, a grim look on her face. “I can’t imagine what it must be like to know that… that Jane made you responsible for ensuring that her struggle didn’t die with her. I’m proud of you, you know that?”
I swallowed, my cheeks burning slightly.
“Jane made sure their primary method of getting into the Milky Way was closed off to them. Without it, they’ll have to use normal FTL to make it to the Mass Relay network. We don’t know exactly how far out into Dark Space they are or what the top speed of their FTL drives are, but… Liara’s given me some estimates as to how long we have. We’re looking at anything from two to fifty years. I might die of old age before they get here. Seems pretty far away to get stressed out about it now, you know?” I said, selfishly hoping that the most far-out estimations were true. I'd watched the footage of the 5th Fleet's battle against Sovereign religiously. If there really were hundreds or thousands of those ships waiting for us in Dark Space, the Citadel fleets would be swept away by them easily. The tech gap was simply too large, the various empires throughout the galaxy too divided.
Jane, I could really use your help right now.
Mom caressed my cheek and smiled softly.
“Maybe,” she conceded. “You’re still young. I know you’ve had your share of responsibilities, but this mission you’re on is something quite a bit beyond that. I may be an admiral, but you’re the one who has to unite the galaxy. But don’t ever make the mistake of thinking you have to do it alone. I’ll be with you every step of the way. I promise you,” she said. She gave me a meaningful look, the sort that only a mother who’d been through the thick of it could give her son. “I just hope you’ll listen to me when I give you advice. I know what the hell I’m talking about.”
My lips curved upward.
“I’m sure you do. I bet you want us to get on the Saratoga right now and get the Alliance admiralty on the same page as us.”
She nodded firmly.
“We’ve been over this. I’m a flag officer for Christ’s sake. Use me. I have access to some of the most powerful people on Arcturus Station. Admirals, Generals, MPs, even the Prime Minister. And that’s not even counting my contacts within the defense industry. Within a few weeks, the Alliance decision-making apparatus could be ours, with the wider population none the wiser. You could then use that as a springboard to gain influence over the alien governments, starting with their ambassadors.”
I raised my eyebrows. She was right, of course. Getting Mom under my sway was probably the biggest coup I’d pulled off so far. She was basically my key to taking over the Alliance military and civilian government. I was all so fast, however. I wasn’t quite prepared to commit to it yet. I still had time. Not to mention any sort of power play in the Alliance might attract unwelcome attention that I wasn’t yet ready to deal with. But fuck if her talking about taking over the galaxy wasn’t the hottest thing anyone’s ever said to me.
“And if Shadow Broker notices and sells that information across the galaxy, what happens then?” I said, keeping my voice level. I didn’t want her to know how excited she’d made me.
Her eyes narrowed into angry emerald slits, but she didn’t dispute my point.
“I suppose one good thing about you having this Prothean device is there’s probably a good shot of you taking that bastard out at some point. When you do, I want to be there when it happens. The motherfucker crossed a line when he let that Nyxeris woman send his troops to kill me and endangered your life and the lives of the good men and women in my security detail,” she said coolly. Her lips twisted into an evil smile, and I couldn’t help but wonder exactly how she was picturing the Shadow Broker’s demise. “It might be worth trying to find and eliminate him and usurp his network before you make any serious moves on the galactic stage. Isn’t Liara trying to locate him as one of her ongoing projects?”
“Yeah.” I hadn’t told her the whole story as to why, yet. With all that happened yesterday, there didn’t seem to be a right time to break the news that the Shadow Broker had tried to sell Jane’s body to the Collectors. Or what had happened afterward. Fuck. That’s not going to be an easy thing to lay on her. “Liara’s smart. She’ll track his ass down, one way or another. For now though, we shouldn’t get ahead of ourselves. I promised Samara I’d help get her daughter back, and I’m not leaving this planet until I do.”
My mother heaved a weary sigh.
“This shit is going to take some getting used to,” she muttered.
“You’re telling me.” I chuckled.
“Wise ass,” she murmured. Then leaned forward to capture my lips in a kiss. It was over way too soon for my taste. “Now get up. We shouldn’t keep Liara and Samara waiting. And I really need my morning coffee.”
Mom immediately got up on all fours, her huge tits swaying beneath her. She caught me staring at her and smirked. She made no move to cover herself up. As she stepped off the bed, her large pale ass came into view. God, seeing that thing jiggle as I pounded into her from behind had been one of the amazing sights of my life.
She gathered her clothes, though her movements were much slower and more deliberate than Samara’s. She seemed content to let me watch her put on her blue-gray Alliance jumpsuit.
Mom looked back at me over her shoulder, a small smile on her face.
“You mind helping me with this zipper?” she said.
I was on my feet before she’d finished her sentence. Her eyes glimmered with amusement as I approached her. Her jumpsuit zipper was in front. The jumpsuit itself hung off her shoulders and parted down the middle, exposing her creamy breasts and her belly. Why would she need help with a front-facing zipper? Unless…
I ran a hand up her stomach, towards her breasts. She shivered slightly, but made no move to stop me. I grabbed a hold of her right breast and squeezed.
She let out a low gasp, her eyes fluttering with arousal.
“Nah, I think I like your jumpsuit the way it is.”
Her emerald eyes widened slightly.
“A-are you sure?” she whispered.
I nodded, smirking. I pinched her nipple, drawing a strangled hiss from her lips.
“Yeah, I’m sure. Don’t zip up your jumpsuit until I say so, okay?”
She nodded quickly.
“Fine, you’re the boss,” she said, clear deference in her voice.
My dick instantly rehardened into a full-blown erection. Fuck.
It took a supreme act of will not to throw her back on my bed and fuck her again. Instead, I grasped her hand and led her into the hallway. She followed after me eagerly, her breasts jiggling wildly. I smiled. I might have been starting the day with work, but that didn’t mean I wasn’t going to get to look at some eye candy while I did.
