During the battle of the Eagle and the Lion.

The mock battle of the Eagle and the Lion was one of the most important annual events in the academy, meant to celebrate the aniversary of one of the most important battles in the history of Fódlan, and also to train it's students in the art of battle.

During it, three teams representing the three nations of Fódlan, and composed of five students and their teacher, would compete with each other to capture bases and win the battle.

On one side, with have the Black eagles team, composed of team leader Edelgard, alongside her fellow classmates, Hubert, Ferdinand, Bernadetta, Linhardt, as well as her teacher Byleth.

On the other, we have the Blue Lions, composed of Dimitri, Felix, Sylvain, Mercedes and Annette. And finally, the Golder Deer, composed of Claude, Hilda, Lysithea, Ignatz and Leonie. With Manuela and Hanneman, being their teachers respectively.

"Alright team, we are going to win this, no matter what!", Edelgard said to her teammates before the battle begun.

"Yeah!!", they all said in unison with the exception of Bernadetta.

And so, the battle began, and it looked like it had a great start for Edelgard and the Black Eagles, for they had better training than the other two teams, no thanks to Byleth. However, what Edelgard didn't predict, was that this battle would quickly go for the wrong, as she herself would end up humilliated in more ways than one.
