Downpour

Suddenly, the sky clouds over and opens up, releasing a downpour of rain onto the campsite.

Ivan and Brody run for cover inside the tent. They are both soaking wet when they find shelter from the rain. The temperature outside has dropped significantly, and between that and their wet clothes both boys are left shivering.

"We should take our clothes off," says Ivan. "These clothes are wet and cold. We don't want to catch pneumonia."

Ivan begins removing his clothes, hanging them up on a rope draped across the tents doorway. Brody follows suit and does the same. Brody is now down to his underwear. He looks over and is shocked to see that Ivan is completely naked.

"Take your wet underwear off, too," says Ivan, "Trust me, it's for the best."

Brody is hesitant to get completely naked in front of another guy, but he is feeling the uncomfortable chill of his wet underwear clinging to his body. He shyly removes his underwear and hangs them with the rest of his clothes.

Brody hugs himself, shivering. "I'm still cold."

"Me too," says Ivan between shivers. "Better get into our sleeping bags to help warm us." Ivan climbs into his sleeping bag.

Brody looks around the tent. "Oh, shit," he says, "My sleeping bag is still outside." Brody sits down on the floor of the tent and curls up. He is shivering profoundly.

"Your going to freeze to **** if you just sit there," says Ivan. Ivan is also still shivering.

"What else am I going to do?" Asks Brody. "My sleeping bag and our spare clothes are all outside in the rain."

"My sleeping bag is big enough for both of us," says Ivan. "Plus, our body heat together will help keep us warm."

"What?" Says Brody. "Share a sleeping bag? When we're both naked?"

"It's better than freezing to ****, right?" Says Ivan.

Brody thinks about it for a minute, then reluctantly climbs into the sleeping bag beside Ivan.

They both lay there in silence for a while. Both boys are still shivering.

"I don't think that this is working," says Brody.

"Maybe because you're so far away," says Ivan. "Slide closer so our body heat can mix together."

"If I get any closer, our bodies will be touching," says Brody.

"It's not like it's a gay thing," says Ivan. "It's to save our lives."

"Ugh, fine," says Brody. "Let's just make sure that it doesn't become a gay thing and that this stays between us."

"I promise," says Ivan.

"So, how should we do this?" Asks Brody.
