Training with the Viryana

Down to business

### Chapter: The Viryana Training Grounds (Rough Draft v1)

Sariah moved fluidly, her every motion a blend of grace and power, as she crossed swords with one of the Viryana warriors. The clang of metal reverberated through the chamber, its echo somehow resonating within her, in tune with her rapidly changing body and psyche.

But with each successful parry, or failings thereof, Sariah found a strange tingling sensation crawling up her skin. Her muscles were sore, yes, but it was the tenderness pervading her that was most disconcerting. Her mind wandered, lingering on thoughts and desires she had never considered before.

It started subtly. She felt the words "she" and "her" slipping into her internal monologue, aligning with her new form and perhaps, her evolving desires. Was it the alchemy, or was it something awakening within her? Perhaps both.

As she was pinned against the wall, the cold steel of a Viryana blade pressed against her throat, a strange excitement welled up inside her. Her heart raced, not out of fear but from a craving she didn't quite understand. She wanted to be overpowered, to be claimed, but in a way that was beyond physical, beyond the flesh.

"Enough for today," announced the Viryana instructor, sensing a shift in Sariah's focus. The other warriors sheathed their weapons, nodding respectfully towards her.

With an unusual irritability curling at the edge of her thoughts, Sariah excused herself. "I need a bath," she mumbled, more to herself than anyone else. Her trainers exchanged glances, suspecting that their charge was wrestling with more than just martial dilemmas.

As the warm water enveloped her, Sariah let out a sigh. This was the respite she needed, yet even here, her mind refused to quiet. The feeling of wanting, that indistinct yearning, persisted.

She dipped her head underwater, as if she could drown the swirling storm of emotions and emerging desires. When she resurfaced, the bath chamber was filled with steam, much like the mist of uncertainty that clouded her thoughts.

This was new terrain.

Is the day over?
