Dont let the coffee burn

She pads back toward the hallway, her bare feet quiet against the floor, and as she passes the kitchen, she slows just enough to catch Joe's eye. Her cheeks are still faintly pink, but her smile is knowing, teasing.

"Just heading to the shower," she says, her voice light, letting the towel shift slightly as she walks. "Don't let the coffee burn, boys."

She continues past them toward the bathroom, but just before she disappears through the door, she glances back over her shoulder, a glint in her eye, clearly up to something.
