Hermione awoke to the tiny hands of Dobby shaking her awake. "Great Harry Potter's Hermie must wake up!"

"Dobby? What happened?"

"Greatest Harry Potter saw the terrible In-quiet DoDo leave her office with Filchie, and had Dobby throw a Eurmpet horn into the fire at Filchie's Office on the other side of the castle."

Hermione goggled as Harry's idea of "a distraction" being to level the entire disciplinary wing and disciplinary records for the past hundred years.

"Greatest Harry Potter sent me to elf-pop you to your dorm so you do not get caught by terrible Dodo."

"Thank you Dobby. I--!" Hermione practically shot to her feet as she looked towards the ritual floor.

A Five (5) pointed pentagram sat before her. With 6 items sacrificed and one item lost.

It took a second, but hermione determined that the 6th and 7th items respectively were partially sacrificed and not sacrificed at all. Luckily when she fell, she did not fall towards the burning symbols, or she might have been an accidental sacrifice.

But did the ritual work? Hermione looked around the room. It was basically an open space with no hiding places. If anyone had been summoned, they would be readily apparent.

"Damn and blast." Hermione paused as she realized that curse was a bit on the nose given the explosion.

I'll need to think up some other way to get a Defense professor to replace Umbridge. Hermione paused. Wait an explosion at hogwarts.

"Dobby, can you take a letter to Rita Skeeter without it being intercepted?"

"Dobby can Miss Harry Potter's Hermey."

Hermione ranto her bag and quickly scrawled a note saying how "Umbridge was failing in her duties as High Inquisitor while she also tried to remove the authority of Dumbledore to fix problems and be DADA teacher, and as a result an unsafe explosion occurred with an unknown **** toll."

(Hermione knew that harry would not have risked any lives given his use of the map, but it was the perfect sensationalist bait for the distasteful muckraker.)

"Ok Dobby, pleas take me back to my room, then deliver this to Skeeter."

"Yes Great Harry Potter's Hermy!"

The tiny elf popped them away.

Across the room, a chamelion-like effect shimmered as an observer dropped their cloaking effect.

"Well now, this seems interesting."
