Distraction

"What did you have in mind?" Carmen asked April as the trio walked out to the gym.

"Distract the bitch, I'll do the rest." Megan said.

"You got it." Carmen said as they joined the other 20 plus girls in center of the gym.

"You three! Stop talking and line up with the others!" Diana barked. "Everyone, today we're going to be playing some basketball! Split up into teams of five."

The class did as they were told. Carmen, who was actually a good player, took the point guard position. She began dribbling as another girl started covering her. The others on her team waved their hands to get passed the ball. Carmen threw April a wink off court. Then she threw the ball towards one of her teammates, though she deliberately threw it wide. The ball went passed the girl and slammed into coach Diana's head.

The tall woman squawked and stumbled, almost falling over. There was a collective mummer of shock and laughter from the class as coach Diana swung on Carmen, looking furious...
