Chapter 65

You ...
Dismiss Tre and White as you prepare for a fun night with your girlfriends
A slow, confident smirk spread across your lips. "An A.I. can't replicate me," you rumbled, the statement a simple, unshakeable fact. "It can replicate my strength, my speed, my fighting style. But it can't replicate my mind. My unpredictability. The fact that I enjoy watching my enemies squirm before I break them." You leaned down, capturing Violet's lips in a brief, possessive kiss. "She's building a bigger club, not realizing I'm the one who decides which heads get bashed in with it."
Violet's eyes gleamed with a shared, predatory light. She loved this. This was the real foreplay for her, the plotting, the planning, the slow, inevitable tightening of the noose around your enemies. "Which is why," she purred, her fingers dancing across your abs, "we need to make a statement at this party. A visual one. Power isn't just about what you do; it's about what you project."
You leaned back, a curious glint in your eye. "Alright, my queen. Convince me. What's our grand entrance? I refuse to wear a stupid cape."
A genuine, wicked laugh escaped her, a sound that made Gina stir at the foot of the bed. "No capes. I promise. Though Kimmy did suggest we could all go as your adoring fan club." She rolled her eyes playfully. "Too on the nose. And a little pathetic."
"I want something that says 'we own this place without having to shout it,'" you stated, your gaze sweeping over the three of them. "Something that makes them look at us and know the game is over before it's even started."
"And that," Violet said, her smile returning, sharp and triumphant, "is exactly what I have in mind." She sat up, the sheet pooling around her waist, her bare breasts a glorious distraction. "We're going as gods. Not literal, cheesy Zeus-and-Hera gods. Old gods. Forgotten gods. The kind that demanded tribute and feasted on the faith of their followers."
She gestured to Kimmy, who was blinking sleepily, her hazel eyes focusing on Violet. "Kimmy, my sweet, will be a Dryad. Not a playful, flitting fairy. A creature of ancient woods, of roots and thorns. Soft greens and browns, flowers woven into her hair that look beautiful but are actually poison. She'll look innocent, approachable. The bait in our trap."

Kimmy's cheeks flushed a pretty pink, her eyes wide with a mixture of excitement and shyness at the thought. "I... I can do that," she whispered, looking to you for approval. You gave her a reassuring smile and a nod, and she practically glowed.
Then Violet's gaze drifted to the lump at the end of the bed. "And Gina," she said, her voice taking on a cooler, more clinical tone. "Our dear shapeshifter will be a Chimera. A fitting metaphor, don't you think? A collection of stolen parts, cobbled together into something monstrous and powerful, but with no true soul of its own. I'm thinking something sleek, something reddish or black and leathery, with hints of scales and fur. A mask, of course. Something bestial and terrifying. She'll be our enforcer, the monster that lurks at our master's feet."

From the depths of the duvet, Gina mumbled something that sounded suspiciously like "Yes, my queen." She was learning her place, and the speed of her adaptation was... satisfying.
You watched Violet, impressed. It wasn't just a costume idea. It was a psychological masterpiece. Each role played to the girls' strengths and personalities, while also reinforcing their place in your hierarchy.
"And you?" you asked, your voice a low, interested rumble. "What god do you claim as your own?"
Violet's smile was pure, unadulterated power. She leaned in, her lips almost brushing yours. "I am Nyx," she whispered, the name a dark, caress on the air. "The primordial goddess of night. Shadow. Secrets. I'll be in a gown of the darkest silk, so deep it seems to drink the light. A veil, perhaps, hiding my face but not my eyes. I won't be a guest at the party. I will be the darkness the party takes place in. The watcher in the corner. The keeper of the secrets you so generously provide me."

It was perfect. Utterly, chillingly perfect. She wasn't just your queen; she was your spymaster, your high priestess, the shadow that would swallow your enemies whole.
"And me?" you asked, the question a formality. You already knew.
Your queen pulled back, her triumphant, loving gaze burning into you. "You," she breathed, her voice filled with a reverence that was more potent than any worship. "You are Hades. Lord of the Underworld. Not the cheap, cartoon villain from the movies. The real one. The brother of Zeus who was given the richest, most formidable domain. The ruler of shades and spirits. The final, unavoidable destination for all mortal souls."
She rose from the bed, her naked body a brown, perfect sculpture in the afternoon light. She paced, her movements fluid and confident as she painted the picture. "No tacky plastic crown. No skull-tipped scepter. You'll wear a suit, of course. But the fabric will be impossibly black, a shade deeper than mine, woven with a thread that absorbs the light. A high-collared coat, severe and regal. A red mask that erodes your power. You look so dashing John. Everyone will fear what you could do to them."
You...
