How indeed?
Disillusioned
Sae Niijima was going through... Changes.
On the surface, it was completely understandable. Sae was the most rigid, strict, rule-abiding woman around! Every hour of every day was productive, every outfit was professional. It's only a matter of time before the pressure builds! But this was a bit deeper than that... And even deeper still.
Deep in the Metaverse, Sae had developed a "Palace", like so many others. A Palace born of her spite, stress, insecurity and frustration with the systems she devoted herself to.
Sae had devoted her life to following the rules of a clearly rigged game. And now these "Phantom Thieves", clearly skirting these rules, were achieving more than traditional law enforcement could ever dream of!
As the weeks passed, her frustration toward her routines grew, and her Shadow only grew more depraved in the corners of her subconscious. Sae's strict routine began to slip. Very subtly at first, but things soon came to a head... As her sister, Makoto, would discover.
The younger of the Niijima sisters stepped downstairs, letting out a gentle yawn.
While not lazy by any metric, Makoto would allow herself the occasional relaxed morning, if only to avoid burning herself out like her sister. She'd slept in, planned to make breakfast, then intended to meet with her Phantom Thief cohorts.
This late into the morning, Makoto would surely have the house to herself.
Clad in a tank top, and a pair of Buchimaru panties that hugged her generous butt, Makoto immediately cornered the coffee machine. Sojiro, and perhaps Joker, would surely admonish her for using such a lazy automated process--
"Oh!"
Makoto turned around, and nearly dropped her coffee mug when she saw her sister sitting in the kitchen!
"Good morning." Sae muttered, without so much as looking up from her phone.
"Good morning..." Makoto responded. If she'd known Sae was home, she would've gotten dressed properly! Not that Sae was looking any more decent. "I didn't expect to see you today."
"I took the day off." Sae explained.
A completely simple and understandable explanation-- Except, in all her days, Makoto had never heard of her sister taking a day off. Rain, snow, flu or injury, Sae was always on the clock! That was shocking on its own, but coupled with how Sae was dressed...
Makoto was utterly dumbfounded.
Rather than her flowing, pristine grey locks, Sae had a plume of messy grey hair that looked in need of a wash. Her expression, so firm and gorgeous, was now tired and uncaring.
She wore lengthy, comfortable pajama pants, and... She was completely topless! Sitting there, her sizeable breasts just hanging out, as if she'd started getting changed, only to stop a quarter of the way through! Heavy, flawless tits, with pale nipples and just a hint of sag...
Makoto kept her eyes on the coffee machine.
"I see. You certainly seem... Relaxed." She acknowledged. "And your, umm... Lack of a shirt?"
"I didn't see a point in getting dressed up." Sae responded, as if it were the most obvious viewpoint in the world. "It's... Surprisingly pleasant, lounging around like this. You're welcome to join me if you aren't busy."
Makoto... Felt like she was in some kind of Twilight Zone. Sure, she's wanted her sister relax a bit. She's wanted to spend time with her even more. But this felt like an extreme! Not to mention the invitation! She swallowed some of her coffee, and rather than immediately answering, she offered a shaky smile.
"How about I make us some breakfast?"
