Bridgett pulled up to the home that sat behind Sharon's mother's store, Petra's Pleasures. It was an old Victorian style house from the turn of the last century. When Petra had bought it it was in dire need of refurbishing. It was slow going at first, having to pay all that money for the house, and to build the store in the front of the property. But Petra was nothing if not determined, and she got it done.
She still had things to do of course, but the house was structurally sound, so the major worries were over.
Bridgett got out of her car and jogged up to the front door, knocking loudly.
Sharon answered a moment later, and not how Bridgett would have expected. She stood there nude, smiling down at the shorter Bridgett.
Bridgett gasped, "Oh...uhm...why would you answer the door like that?" Bridgett stammered out.
Sharon smiled, "Who's going to see? We don't have neighbors really. The nearest one being a half mile that way. Come in. What's up?"
Bridgett stood there looking at her friend for a minute before shaking herself out of it and walking into the house. "Remember what you told me you and Jeremy did?"
"Yeah, I was surprised he didn't want to go all the way...maybe next time."
"Please...don't."
Sharon looked at her friend with a weird look, "You?"
"Courtney. She loves him. I think. I need you to call...to to tell her what happned between you two. I want to know how she reacts. Operation Get'em Together is in full effect and..."
"Operation what?" Sharon asked, her heart sinking a bit as she realized she may have jumped on Courtney's toes.
"Something me and Sara Lang came up with right about Jeremy's birthday in April. We have to do that operation before Operation Make'em Happy."
"Oh...what do you want me to do ? Call Courtney?"
"Uh huh..."
"Okay." Sharon said slowly, apprehensively.
"Are you okay?"
"Sure. Let's go.
