Ok, so I’m thinking there is some high schooler who fancies themselves an “Influencer” (entertainer) who due to their cameras, editing equipment, etc (Unusual equipment), has figured out that Jessica and Golden Girl are the same. Maybe facial recognition software or something. But they have a good opinion of Golden Girl so they aren’t going to out her. BUT they want something (future plans). I’m thinking they want to ride the rising wave of popularity (social) that is Golden Girl.

Weeks like this, Jessica regretted becoming a teacher. She should have finished up law school, or gone to medical school
‘We could quit and become a stripper.’
It was a sign of Jessica’s mood that she didn’t even bother chastising the voice in her head. Still, the extra money wouldn’t hurt. With her salary she could use the extra money. But what little free time she got was taken up by GG and being a superhero. She should talk with Mercury, he seemed to be trying to make it a full time job. He might be able to tell her how to make actual money that did NOT involve accepting bribes. But that was neither here nor there, because for now she was dealing with an unruly class of horny high school seniors
’At least we have a FEW things to look forward to. Like your dates with Detective Handsome and Sexy Wizard.’
While Jessica was looking forward to her date with the Detective (and curious about what a date with a Wizard might be like), she tried to put it out of her mind. After all she WAS still at work. At this exact moment in fact she needed to focus on the task at hand.
The task being counseling one of her students. “Look, we both know you are smart enough that you could be valedictorian. But unless you actually do the work I have to give you a zero. Keep this up and you are going to fail not just my class but every class.”
The student in question was a nerdy scrawny looking fellow. There was little that could be done about the simple fact that he hadn’t finished growing and like many young men looked like some of his limbs were too long. But also like many young men his age he didn’t put much (if any) effort into his appearance.
With his dirty black hair, reading glasses, and baggy clothing, Lucas might have been good looking, if he bothered to clean himself up at all or cared about his appearance.
As it was, Lucas seemed to care as little about this conversation as he did about anything else. That being not at all. “Look, Jessica.”
“Ms. Brown.” She was NOT about to be spoken to like that by one of her students. Especially a student who was in danger of failing because he couldn’t be bothered to do any of the work.
Jessica can see his eye twitch, “Ms. Brown. We both know this is a waste of our time. So why don’t you just give me whatever paperwork I have to sign and we can both be on our way.”
“I don’t think you understand the situation you are in.” Seriously, he was not stupid like most of the other students she had to have this talk with. “Do you want to be known as a high school drop out? Do you think you will be able to get into any good colleges on your current path?”
Lucas gives a sigh, then of all things he smiles as if he is amused. “No, I know exactly what situation I am in.” He then pulls out two pieces of paper. Pieces of paper with pictures.

“It is a wonder what one can find out with a computer.” On both pictures were notes, arrows, and circles written in thick black marker. “With a simple program you can find patterns in images that would be almost impossible to find with a human eye. Doctors use programs like this to find minute traces of cancer. As for me.” He gives Jessica an amused grin, “I can use it to find similarities and patterns between two seemingly different faces.”

Doing her best to stay calm, Jessica maintains a straight face as she stares at the two pictures. ‘This is bad.’
‘Not unsalvageable though.’ Jessica can practically hear Golden Girl grin in her head. ‘He obviously wants something, otherwise he would have gone to the press, or just shared his discovery online. Maybe he just wants you to suck his dick?'
Jessica sat there in silence, ignoring the voice in her head as she stared down at the young man. No, the boy. Who was obviously trying to **** her. He was doing his best to try and act confidant, but as they sat there in silence he was obviously nervous, squirming in his seat while sweating. Might as well seize the initiative. “Do you think this changes anything?” Lucas blinks in surprise but she doesn’t give him time to gather his wits. “You are still failing.”

“But I do think it changes everything. If this were to get out your reputation would be ruined.” Lucas crosses his arms and grins. “After all, I doubt parents would want their children to be taught by the promiscuous, Golden Girl.”
Jessica crosses her arms and returns his grin with a glare. “And you would still be failing all of your classes.”
“It looks like we are at an impasse then.” His grin grows even larger. “But is it really worth destroying your career, and exposing your secret identity? Besides, you yourself already said I’m smart enough to be passing these classes anyway.”
“Is that all you want?” Jessica finds that hard to believe, because with how much effort Lucas put into this he could have just passed his classes the normal way.
‘Never underestimate the amount of work a person will do to be lazy.’
Jessica couldn’t disagree with GG. She has been a teacher long enough to be impressed by the effort some students would go through to avoid doing school work. But then again, Lucas wouldn’t have made the connection if he wasn’t already researching Superheros. “What do you want?” Lucas must have been looking for GG, not Jessica. The fact that she was one of his teachers was probably just a coincidence.
“I need to remind myself that you are more than just a pretty face.” The boy then had the audacity to stare openly at Jessica’s chest for a few seconds. HIs face then goes serious as he gives Jessica a very serious look, “I want to team up with you.”
That took Jessica by such surprise that she blurted out a “What?!” before she could stop herself.
“Not as your sidekick, but as your partner. I already have a costume and power suit made up and everything.” If anything the boy’s grin gets bigger. “I’m thinking Daedalus”
_‘Well, isn’t this interesting.’ GG sounded amused in Jessica’s head. ‘A smart boy like him could be useful. Mercury is cute and all but he is kind of dumb.’_
Jessica knew that GG wanted more than Lucas’ smarts. She always wanted more when it came to men. But still, he could be useful. “This isn’t a game, IF I agree to this,” she didn’t really have a choice and they both knew it, “you will follow my instructions.”
“Of course, of course.” For a moment Jessica almost felt relieved. “When I think it is a good idea anyway. I’m not going to listen to you if you tell me to do something stupid.”
With a sigh, Jessica starts rubbing the side of her head. Could this week get any worse?
