Dinner

Dueling tryouts continue tomorrow and you don't want to go to bed hungry. Maybe, if you get an early start tomorrow, you can stop by Professor Solomon's workshop in Delmorgan Park before tryouts. She might have a good idea of where to find the materials you need. Closing the tome on magic defense, you start in the direction of House Phoenix.

Seven Winds Courtyard isn't far from home and the trip back is rather quick. You make a stop by your room to drop off your new book and feed Pharos, before heading off to the dining hall. The tables are full and the room quite packed with students socializing in a raucous as you enter. During the week, most of these students would have already been back in their rooms to study or get to bed early for tomorrow's classes. Tonight, however, they seem content to stay up late enjoying their first free time of the year. Fortunately, the dinner line isn't long as most of the students appear to have already eaten.

You look around for anywhere to sit but don't have much luck. Lee and Brice can't be seen and you wonder where they are in all this chaos. You doubt they have gone to bed just yet, maybe they are hanging out in one of their rooms. Without anyone you know around, you find a table with an open seat available. The students here don't pay you much attention and are engrossed in a discussion on using the basics of conjuring to work out a method for self teleportation. A few of them have varying ideas but none are brave enough to try it on themselves.

Finishing your meal, you excuse yourself and head back out into the common room and the stairway up to the second floor. You look around at all the students having a good time and slightly regret you are not among them.

"Oh, dude there you are!" You hear Lee's voice call out to you. Looking up, you notice he and Brice on the second floor with another boy. "Wait right there, we will be down in a second." A moment later the three of them are rushing down the stairs to greet you. "Hey, you will never believe what happened on our way back from tryouts." He tells you excitedly. "We ran into Parisa and her friend... What was her name? Keira! They said a group of their friends were getting together tonight in the park and invited us along. You want to come?"

You look at the three excited boys ready to go out for some fun. Thoughts of Parisa and spending time with her outside of class almost have you jumping at this opportunity. However, Harmony's voice soon rings in your head: "You shouldn't neglect your own studies..." Her words causing you to pause. You could get to bed and get an early start tomorrow. Or you could go and have a good time with Parisa and Lee.
