What do the Monkeys do next?

Dig her out

The Monkeys then all began digging Elizabeth out, allowing her enough leeway to extract herself from the hole. She emerged from the hole with her body covered in sand and her limbs feeling numb. Before she could thank the monkeys they pinned her arms behind her back and tied them up with nearby reeds. Before Elizabeth could protest she had tripped over and her ankles were also tied together by a set of reeds. Elizabeth tried to free herself but her binds were done up too tightly to struggle against. She then tried to move forwards by moving knees into her stomach which caused her bum to stick out at the monkeys, one of them choosing slap it. Elizabeth winced and continued her chosen form of movement, slowly moving across the sand like a worm, and each time being met with a spank on the bottom.

After 10 minutes of this cycle the monkeys then stopped and decided that they had enough fun, leaving the red bottomed Elizabeth in the sand. It took Elizabeth a while to finally get back on her feet, but after a long arduous process involving a tree she began to awkwardly hop around like a rabbit.

Elizabeth wondered what she was now going to do. She needed to free herself from her binds but her lips also felt dry and her stomach rumbled. She needed food and water fast. But if she decided to free herself from her binds it would make searching for food much easier. Elizabeth pondered her next course of action.
