Denise

Denise looked at the five cards in her hand:
3 of spades,
3 of hearts,
4 of spades,
7 of clubs,
and the Ace of clubs.

She quickly spotted the pair of threes and with nothing else likely decided to discard the three other cards until a perverse thought entered her head. What would happen if she actually played to lose.

All three of her opponents had been giving her admiring glances since she had arrived. Heath was a little more blatant than the other two, either because he was more confident or because he didn’t have a potentially jealous partner, but she could tell that both Tony and Bev were definetely interested in her and Denise loved being the centre of attention.
