Decline the enhancement

"No," Kira said firmly, despite the treacherous temptation she felt. "I don't want any 'enhancements.' I want clothes and to be released from this chair immediately."

She refused to allow a machine—especially one from a sex trafficker's ship—to manipulate her insecurities. The entire examination had felt like a violation, analyzing and categorizing her body like merchandise. She wouldn't compound that violation by accepting its "improvements."

"Understood, Administrator," the system replied without inflection. "Fabricating replacement clothing now."

A drawer slid open, revealing a folded shipsuit. The restraints fully retracted, allowing Kira to finally sit up and cover herself with her hands until she could grab the garment.

She quickly pulled on the suit, still trembling slightly from both the lingering effects of the compounds and the intense humiliation of the experience. Her skin remained hypersensitive, every brush of the fabric sending uncomfortable tingles across her nerve endings.

"As previously noted, heightened sensitivity may persist for 12-24 hours due to your exceptional compound susceptibility," the system reminded her. "Would you like a mild sedative to manage discomfort?"

"No more injections," she snapped. "I'm leaving now." The last thing she wanted was more chemicals in her system.

The door unlocked with a soft click, and Kira stalked out, trying to ignore how the shipsuit's material seemed to caress her oversensitized skin with every movement. She felt violated, exposed, and furious—not just at the machine, but at Vrax'lian for putting her in this position.

She found him in the galley, preparing something in the synthesizer as if nothing unusual had happened. As if he hadn't known exactly what that "medical examination" would entail.

"Have a pleasant examination?" he asked mildly, not looking up from the console.
