December Faculty Meeting: Leah sits next to Jason (Lust:+10 Others: -35)

There was a spot open near Jason and Leah decided to take her seat there. Daniel and Coach Reed glared at Jason as Leah chose to sit by him and not themselves.

"Hey," he said giving her a grin. "Ready for Christmas break?"

"Oh God yeah." she let out a sigh "I just hope I can make it till then."

"I know that's right. But we have this stupid Christmas concert coming up." Jason groaned and was going to continue his complains when Mr. Howard's booming voice interrupted.

"Alright good afternoon everybody." he said pacing around staring down the few people who were trying to keep their conversations going. "Alright--good afternoon. I will try make this quick so we can get out of here as soon as possible.

"As you know this is our last faculty meeting before the break." he stopped speaking amid the short burst of yells and cheers to which even he smiled before continuing as they died down. "Just a few things to remember--We are proud to announce we have a have shot at the state finals if we can win this Friday here at home. Lets go Cougars! Also we have our first big field trip coming up to Pioneer Town the last week of class. We also have finals that week. Makes sure you get grades in and on time. Last day to put grades in is the Sunday AFTER the final day of class."

Mr. Howard proceeded to talk about some mundane state testing requirements and latest HR information...Leah and most other zoned out until Mr. Howard handed the meeting over to AP Kenning.

"Ah thank you Mr. Howard," AP Kenning said getting to her feet "and as always there will be a very very-unofficial Christmas party as always at my house. So be sure to check your mailboxes for the details. That is all I wanted to add. Thank you Mr. Howard."

The faculty meeting concluded and everyone departed as quickly as possible.
