Dealing with Grandpa

Freddie's grandfather, George, was always a tough old man. To him, there was no problem that a strong body and willpower couldn't solve. When Freddie caught the Femboy Bug, he was supportive in his own way.

"Life sometimes will fuck you over in ways you never thought possible," is what he said when the news reached him. "Doesn't mean you should give up." Freddie was glad that Grandpa George wasn't abandoning him like the others, but he felt the need to stay on his toes around him. For one thing, Freddie wasn't sure what Grandpa George meant by "not giving up". Was he telling Freddie to roll with the punches or hunt for a cure? The latter was impossible as the world still couldn't make sense of the Femboy bug other than what it did.

Freddie was afraid to find out, lest he lose another family member, but it seems that life wasn't done fucking him over. Grandpa George was insistent on visiting Freddie to check up on him. None of Freddie's excuses seemed to work on him, and it only made the old man want to visit even more. Freddie didn't know why Grandpa George was so adamant about seeing him, but he doubted it was for "Moral Support", at least not the type most people would want.

"It'll all be alright," Miranda told him when he told her. "He's your grandfather. What's the worst that could happen?"
