Deal with Ramona.

You decide that your cover as Ramona is too useful and hard earned to abandon completely. On the other hand you really need to know more about how this world and your interaction with it is governed if your to avoid simply being used by everyone you encounter. Two immediate problems occur to you, firstly there's still the original Ramona and secondly you can't afford to go around asking questions regarding gameplay as the supposedly NPC whore.

You head back to Ramona's room and find the whore still cuffed to the bed securely. When you first enter the room the prostitute stirs and makes muffled groans as loudly as she as able with the gag in place. Once she realises that it is you and not another of Big's employees she goes silent. You sit on the bed and take her gag out.

"Do you want to live?" You ask her directly.

Ramona looks shocked and can only nod dumbly in response.

"Good, then you'll need to do exactly as I tell you." You state firmly. "I'm going to release you and you'll leave this city and go elsewhere, I don't care where. I'll transfer you some credits to make a new start. If you return here or get in contact with this brothel to tell them what has happened I'll hunt you down and kill you. Remember I can look like anybody I want to, so you'll never see me coming."

Ramona nods frantically looking terrified.

"OK, good. I'm going to release you now and I'll change my appearence. Then we'll walk out of here together and you'll board the next train, bus or whatever out of this city with enough credits to start a new life."

Ramona agrees to all of this and you release her. She hurriedly throws a few simple possessions into a small bag. You will your camoflaging nanites into action and within seconds you look like a cheap blonde whore with too much makeup and overinflated tits. You stash most of your weapons and hi tech gear in Ramona's room figuring that security at the door would be sure to spot them.

Though Ramona looks jumpy you are able to leave the brothel without a problem. As you pass through the security scanners you put on a bored vacuous expression and work your jaws continuously as though you were chewing gum. The stilletto blade that you've retained does show up on the scanners, but the doormen seem unconcerned by it.

After questioning Ramona for directions you escort her to a terminal for some sort of jet powered hovercraft and with a good portion of your remaining credits transferred to her account the whore takes the first craft heading out of the city.

With Ramona out of the You believe your cover will be safe in the short term at least. Anyone doing a thorough investigation would of couse track her through her credit account, but such an investigation is only likely after your deception is discovered. Now you feel you can enter and leave the brothel safely you turn to the problem of learning more about cybercity and this game. You search out the nearest shady corner and quickly change your appearence back to your original dark elf assassin character.

Outside the terminal is a taxi rank with hovercars, you hop into the first one you come to.

"Where you want go?" Growls the orcish looking driver.

"You know any bars or guilds where newly arrived operatives hang out?" You ask.

The Orc turns in his seat and stares at you a second before snorting disgustingly.

"Shoulda guessed,you damn Drow always shady." He grumbles. "You new here eh? Know place for you."
