Day Four Part 5.

The the approached the club and walked in. It being early afternoon, there were very few people there. The lights were on and the music was low. At this time of day, it functioned as a bar.

Jay sat down at the bar and ordered a vodka red bull. When the bartender brought it, she asked her question.

"I'm looking for a woman I met here the other day. Petite, with shoulder-length curly black hair and piercing green eyes. Have your seen someone like that?"

The bartender gave her a once-over, lingering just a little on her cleavage. "This a joke? There's a mirror in the lady's room."

She smiled in a way she hoped was seductive. "It's actually my sister. We're not twins, but people think we are. Her name is Eve. Ring any bells?"

The bartender shrugged. "We get a lot of people in here. I don't keep track of them. Sorry."

Jay grabbed a cocktail napkin and a pen. "If a woman who looks like me named Eve does happen to come by, could you give her my number? Tell her Jay needs to talk to her very urgently."

He raised an eyebrow. "Jay?"

She laughed flirtatiously. "My name's Jenny but I go by Jay. Thanks so much!" She left a twenty dollar bill for the drink and stood to leave.

Outside of the club, they regrouped. "Well, shit." Claire said dejectedly. "Now what?"

"Not much we can do but wait, I guess." Changing topics, she turned to Jay. "Since when were you such a hot little slut?"

Jay grinned. "It just comes naturally. I guess Eve isn't exactly a choirgirl. Speaking of which..." She adjusted her loose-fitting tank, her unrestrained breasts jiggling inside. "Do guys always stare this much? I feel like a freak! Everywhere I go people stare at me. It's making me a little paranoid."

Jenny laughed and clapped her on the back. "Buddy, this is nothing. The way you used to drool over women, you'd think they had a third eye. Not so much fun on the receiving end, is it?"

Jay shrugged, causing her breasts to jiggle again. "I don't know, I could get used to it."

Claire was getting tired of this weird little display. "So what now?"

"I've been thinking about it." Jenny replied. "Should we go to a hospital or some sort of authority?"

The other two immediately shook their heads. "No way." Jay replied. "They'll think we're crazy." Claire added.

"I agree. Here's the thing, though - that doesn't make any sense. I'll bet it we asked Meredith she'd say the same thing. I think whatever this Eve thing is, it wants to propagate itself. I don't think it wants us to go to the authorities."

Claire paused. "So you're saying we should go against our best judgment just because you think, what, it's trying to trick us into not going?"

Jenny replied sadly. "No, we really shouldn't. It's a theory, but if I'm right it may be that we actually can't decide to go. No matter how much we reason it out, we'll always have an excuse not to."

"That's stupid." said Jay. "We're not reporting this because it's a bad idea."

Jenny nodded. "Another thing I've noticed- it seems Eve's libido is pretty high. I suspect that's part of the propagation logic too. Think about it. Jay, you've had sex with two different people since you got it. I basically threw myself at Claire even though I'm not a lesbian. And Claire, how does the idea of hooking up with a guy sound?"

Claire wrinkled her nose. "Ugh, why would I want some dude's nasty dick in me?" She paused. "Oh God, that actually sounds good! Gross! What the fuck is happening to me? Ugh!"

Jenny nodded. "That's what I thought. The Eve virus is making us all want to go out and spread it. Whatever our sexual preferences may have been, Eve doesn't care. She just wants to fuck indiscriminately. Don't you feel it?"

"Yeah, now that you mention it..." Jay looked down at herself. "I really wanna take the new equipment for a test drive. So what do we do?"

Jenny smiled devilishly and wrapped her arm around Claire's waist. "I think we need to satisfy these urges without spreading it anymore. Ladies," she said with a glint in her eye, "let's go fuck each other.
