Day Eleven

Ethan felt tired. Very tired.

His body woke up on its own, and despite his best efforts to get more sleep, ended up staring at the ceiling for an hour. He grumbled his way out of bed, not bothering to get dressed.

Yawning, he putted around the house, putting in a small, token effort towards keeping it relatively neat and tidy. Despite being a homeowner for a smidge under two weeks, he felt like he was getting the hang of it. Minus the yard work. 'Thank fuck for Charlie,' he thinks to himself. {if Charlie Sex=true}Truthfully, he had been thinking of Charlie quite a bit this morning{if Charlie Sex 2=true}, especially after last night{endif}... He shakes his head, trying to pull it from the gutter.{endif}

Taking a seat on the couch, Ethan checks his phone.{if Heather=true}No word from Heather. He thinks about reaching out, but doesn't. He can't put a finger on why but chalks it up to not being mentally all there. Which was true enough.{endif}{if Heather Alt=true}He hadn't heard from Heather in days. He thinks about reaching out, but decides against it. Things were already weird enough.{endif} Sighing, he scrolls aimlessly for a few minutes, while in the back of his head he tries to figure out what he should do. Putting pants on was out of the question. That much was for sure. What he needed was a nice, easy, quiet day.

He lowers his phone, he reflects on that.

Things had been crazy lately, and it was definitely catching up to him. He was sure it was why he felt so tired now. And yet, a part of him didn't want to just spend the whole day alone either...

But he really doesn't want to put pants on either.
