Day 8 - The beach episode

It's Day 8 (Wednesday) in the Big Brother house. Tomorrow will be the first live eviction, and you still aren't sure who you'll be voting for at this time. However, for right now you don't need to worry about that. The house has been planning something for days now, and you have no intention of missing it.

DANIELLE (Diary Room) - "Today is the last day that all sixteen of us will be in the house together. So, we decided to have a pool party in the backyard to celebrate! I'm looking forward to just kicking back and not worrying about the game for a little while."

The morning passes quickly, and soon enough the sun is high in the sky and the houseguests start gradually making their way out to the pool area. The backyard starts buzzing with energy and laughter as you all take some time off from strategy and simply enjoy each others' company.

At one point during the afternoon, you're lounging on one of the deck chairs by the pool next to Victoria, Roxy and Liam. Liam is out cold, fully relaxed for the first time in days. You chat and make jokes with Victoria and Roxy while observing the rest of the houseguests from behind your shades.

You see Eugene, Ethan and Derek hanging out at the side of the pool. Derek is trying to make conversation with the two younger men, but they don't seem to be that engaged. Eugene's gaze keeps looking over towards Alina in the hot tub, trying and usually failing to catch her attention. Ethan keeps awkwardly stealing glances at Raquel, looking away and blushing whenever she turns his direction. Those poor boys need to build up their confidence.

In the near end of the pool, Chirag and Julian are splashing each other and laughing while Danielle floats nearby, warning the two boys not to get her hair wet. This, of course, inspires Julian to do the exact opposite and he starts wading his way over to Danielle with a mischievous look on his face. Danielle screams as Julian capsizes her innertube, but she ultimately comes up laughing and splashing Julian right back.

Alina, Marcus and Ellie are currently in the hot tub together. Ellie jokes with Marcus about what his wife will say about him sharing a hot tub with two younger women. Marcus replies he'll definitely get an earful from her, but that his buddies will shake his hand and buy him a beer. They all laugh, and you catch Alina glancing your way. She's obviously been trying to get your attention all afternoon, confirming that your bait last night definitely has you on her mind. You know her game, though, and don't plan on giving her the attention she wants until it's on your terms. Still, the tiny bikini she brought out today doesn't go unappreciated, and you make sure to get plenty of looks in without blowing your cover.

Most of your attention is locked on the far end of the pool, where Isabel, Raquel and Daisy Mae have congregated. The three gorgeous ladies are wading in the water and chatting. You can't hear them from where you are, but from the looks they're all giving you, you're clearly a hot topic of conversation. Daisy Mae waves at you and you wave back smiling. As the trio returns to their conversation, Roxy smirks and leans over to whisper to you.

ROXY - "You'd better treat that girl right."

Oh, you plan to. Just like all the others.
