Dating start!

You wind up at the local botanical garden in the city. It's a beautiful day outside, the birds are chirping, the sun is shining, and kids like you... Well, that's a story for another universe. You're currently parked at one of the many available picnic tables with Mazl and have unpacked a modest, well, picnic.

Before you lays a selection of your favorite foods, fresh fruits, savory meats, and some honey cakes as a dessert. You relish in the relaxing feeling as your world centers around the Manticore girl in front of you.

"You know, I haven't been here since I was with my ex. We used to come here all the time for walks. But I haven't been back since the divorce, haven't had any reason." You say.

"So why'd ya bring me here if this place reminds you of her? I don't wanna live in her shadow, and that's gonna piss me off." Mazl replies with a grumpy tone.

"Yeah. A lot of memories here. But I brought you here because I really just need to let go. This is one of the last places that remind me of her, and I want to make new memories. Memories with you." You say, placing your hand on her paw.

Mazl grins. "Now that's something I can get behind. That, and this tasty food." A pause. "Ya know, Husband? In the old world, I did prefer a more natural surroundings over an urban environment. So being here, seeing all this? It's nice. Especially after being cooped up for so long." Mazl says as she stretches her leathery wings.

You relish the moment for a while and chow down on another slice of meat. It's a blissful moment of much needed tranquility with Mazl and you suddenly find yourself wishing well be cuddled with her again as you feed each other. You decide to keep this thought to yourself for now as you're in a public place and all. You don't want to draw too much attention to yourself either.
