Daddy James and Baby Joey

Sitting on a bench with all the other mommies and daddies chaperoning was a reasonably buff guy with a thin beard, a tight blue t-shirt and denim jeans. Morgan understood why Jason was into him.

Sitting not to far away was a boy playing with a pair of toy trucks in the sandbox. He was Morgan's age. Dark hair, combed like he was being sent to church. He wore a bright-blue t-shirt, and while he had a pair of tennis shoes, he didn't have any pants, leaving his Barney-decorated diaper out in the open.

Joey and his daddy James had been to this town for much longer than Jason or Morgan, and they were some of the first friends they had made. The sexual tension between Jason and James was instantaneous, and it wasn't long before they started dating. Thankfully, Morgan and Joey got along like a house on fire, so their playdates would also double as an actual date half the time.

Morgan didn't know all the details of how James and Joey knew each other. They looked nothing alike, so it was unlikely that James was Joey's actual dad. They could have been uncle and nephew, and while the age gap was a little wide, they might have just been friends.

Sometimes they would all have a sleepover and Morgan and Joey had to share a crib together. There was nothing going on between the two of them, but there was only so much room in their cribs and they would wake up the next morning with one lying against the other. As for James and Jason, it was clear to their babies that the two of them were spending "adult time" together whenever they were put to bed. They weren't exactly quiet about it.
