Customer service.

Here at Gianna's pizzeria we've always prided ourselves on having great customer service. When covid happened we hired more delivery drivers and made sure everyone wore masks where that was halfway recommended and that everyone's top notch. When there is a heatwave we set out fans and carafes of water, in winter we have terrace heaters set up. We pay our employees well above minimum wage and treat them well, which is why they are so eager to work hard an put in a good performance which we do expect of them with all we give them.

So when SP became more well-known and seemingly more common, we thought hard about what to do. What could we do to make sure our employees and our customers had as good a time as possible at our pizzeria even if they have SP? What we ended up deciding was a project that we tried with a trial run at one location first, which did require us to get some new permits. We set up a part of the restaurant as an 18+ area and had employees wear badges that signify them as either having SP or being ready to 'take care of' someone who has SP. That 'taking care of' can only happen in that special area of course.

It was quite a hassle to get it all set up but once we did, it was a huge success. So much so we immediately got to work rolling this out to our other locations and it looks like a few other establishments are starting to experiment with similar ideas. Of course this would not be as much of a success if our pizzas weren't very good and I am proud of ours. Truly our lead chef's semen if almost as tasty as his tomato sauce. No I don't know from experience, that's all from customer reviews. Definitely.
