Cow and Bull

“Cow and bull.” She says reading off from her screen.

Emily smiles back in confirmation.

“And you’re aware of all the rules and requierments that come with that, correct.” The woman at the desk asks.

“Oh yes. I read everything.” Emily says, her enthusiasm spilling out through her words. “Even signed our releases and everything!”

“I see that.” The woman says. “You two have come prepared, I love to see it.”

You remain quiet as you have no real knowledge of what they’re talking about. Emily had taken care of everything, you’re just along for the ride.

“Okay, perfect!” With a few more clicks on the keyboard, the woman looks away from her computer. “I just need both of you to strip down.”

For a second you think you misheard her, until Emily begins removing her shirt. You’re about to say something, before the woman places a few things on the desk.

“These are for you.” The woman says to Emily, holding up a small container of pills. “And these are yours.” She holds up a different container towards you. “Once you take those, I’ll bring the two of you to the milking room.”

All you can do is stare at Emily who is now completely naked, downing all the pills in with no hesitation, as you attempt to process what’s happening. She turns to you, her smile dimming slightly.

“You’re still dressed?” She questions as if you’re the one acting out of the ordinary.

You hesitate as you’re unsure what to do. Should you question this, or simply go with the flow?
