Continue the water fight

"Oh it's on," Michael said. Lizzie grinned and stood up from her seat to meet her challenge.

The two siblings began to furiously splash each other, both of them forgetting where they were (and how old they were). Lizzie caught herself laughing too; it had been a long while since she and Michael had some time to themselves.

The fun ended abruptly when water shot directly into her face. Blinded, Lizzie fell backwards into the muddy bank of the creek. Her brother immediately stopped to check if she was okay. "Hey! You good?" He asked, offering Lizzie help with standing up. "I'm fine," Lizzie said, rubbing her sore bum as she got up.

'Shit no, I'm not fine,' Lizzie remembered her predicament. "Fuck!" she exclaimed. "What? Are you hurt somewhere?" her brother asked, concerned. "No, this was my only change of clothes!" she told him. 'And I just took a roll in the mud.' Lizzie thought. 'Just great'. "Er..." This was news to Michael. "Let's just head back then..." Lizzie stormed off back to the campsite first.

To Lizzie's dismay, her mother was waiting by their car, almost as if she sensed something had gone wrong.
