Confess

You smiled, feeling a warm feeling in your chest. "Me too, Maddie. I can't believe that I have found an amazing woman like you." You could not believe with all of the craziness that has been going on over the past few days that you have managed to find someone like Maddie, considering when you were a man you could not find anyone to even glance in your direction, maybe it is better that you are a woman now.

Maddie's expression softened, and she leaned in closer to you. "Actually, Ashley, there's something that I've been meaning to tell you."

Your heart skipped a beat, and you looked at her curiously. "What is it?"

Maddie took a deep breath before blurting out, "I think I'm falling in love with you."

The room suddenly felt like it was spinning, and you weren't sure if you had heard her correctly. Maddie's eyes were locked onto yours, and you could see the vulnerability and uncertainty in them.

You took a deep breath, feeling a mix of emotions swirling inside you. "Maddie, I...I don't know what to say."

Maddie looked crestfallen, and she pulled away from you. "I understand if you don't feel the same way. I just had to tell you how I feel."

You reached out and took her hand, feeling a sense of clarity wash over you. "Maddie, I do feel something for you

Maddie's face lit up with a smile, and she leaned in to kiss you softly on the lips. It was a tender moment, filled with a mixture of excitement, uncertainty, and hope. As you pulled away from the kiss, Maddie looked at you with a glint in her eye. "So what does this mean for us?"

You took a deep breath, feeling a sense of relief and excitement at the same time. "I don't know yet, Maddie. But I do know that I want to explore this with you. I want to see where this goes."

Maddie's smile grew wider, and she took your hand in hers. "Me too, Ashley. Me too."
